About 2 months ago. I was filling up my rental car for return to Hertz at Hobby Airport in Houston.

This is a slippery slope. A private spot of land with some gun range targets on it can become a “para-military compound.” Idle, frustrated chatter on websites or in email can become a “plot to [fill in the blank].” The “inside informant” may be a felon offered a sweet deal - but only if he returns information about nefarious activities being planned by the target group.

This is scary stuff. Add in a headline seeking, wanna-be-a-politician DA, the Holder FBI and/or an aggressive or paranoid sheriff who may be up for re-election and any of us could be caught up and accused of terrorists activities.

The New Black Panther Party is calling for a militia of 5,000 black volunteers to capture Trayvon's killer, George Zimmerman, who's in hiding. The small group has posted flyers calling for his capture "dead or alive." That's in addition to the $10,000 bounty the group is offering for Zimmerman's capture.

The way the article reads to me, no crimes were committed. Thought about, talked about, went out and practiced with weapons..blah..blah. What exactly did they DO?I guess the law is now whatever someone wants it to be.
