I urge all Freepers and their families to vote a straight Republican ticket.

I refuse to vote for a Ted Kennedy socialist liberal hack regardless of what letter is behind their name.

I'm a conservative and will not fold my hand at the behest of self promoting liberal hacks willing to destroy the republic just for their own personal gain.

Mitt Romney will not get my vote just as 0bama will not get my vote.

Conviction will save our Republic, not a political party.

I’m probably going to hold my nose and vote for Romney. Not to win the presidency but to at least have a chance at preserving the supreme court. I will vote the most conservative candidate in every race. Hopefully we will get enough conservatives in congress to keep Romney on a very tight leash

I propose our action plan for the next four years is to close our primaries. Allowing dems and independents to vote in primaries has been a disaster!

I don’t think I have seen a single freeper that selected Romney as their first choice. I am a Newt Supporter, but to answer your question, let me make further comparisons between Romney and the Kenyan by asking you to consider the following questions: Which candidate has a deep-seated visceral hatred for America? Which candidate has a similar hatred for White Americans? Which candidate is not just a supporter of “gays”, but has exhibited such deviant behavior? Which candidate is a closet Muslim? Which candidate supports Muslim operations around the world? Which candidate has a spouse that shares the same hatred? Which candidate most hates free enterprise? Which candidate has actually earned much of his way to the top of his field and which has had everything delivered in his lap because of the race? Which candidate allies himself with marxist pigs, known terrorists, and open racists? And finally, and most importantly, which candidate has a corrupt old media on his side and has a well-planned plot to divide his opposition by making sure his opponents split their ticket, thereby assuring his second term? I will not fall for this demRAT-trap.

Get real, If Romney wins, he gets the 2016 nomination.

two choices, vote Romney and no chance for a conservative until 2020, and that’s only if Romney has not destroyed the GOP brand by then like Bush did.

Or vote Obama and straight conservative downticket, and get a chance for a real conservative in 2016.

I know what I’m doing.

Also Jim, this truce is BS. You’re caving to the Romney clan just like all the rest of them. Name and fight the enemy whether they are in your house or not.

"I think it means that I can post that I’m voting for Romney, against Obama without being banned!"

Sounds like it, I am still waiting to hear, since Ron Paul is still in the race and Paul is not Romney, if I can post support for Paul without getting banned. My gut feeling is I'd better not try it. lol.

Does this mean I can’t call Romney a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey sh!t anymore?

That is correct, sugarcoating isn't aloud!

I just signed in for the first time in awhile.Don't zot me thinking I am retread or anything. Just because I have not signed on here in a long time please do not dismiss what I have to say if you truly want a truce and free republic (what is used to be) back. What is going on? I saw a thread that was bashing Michelle Bachmann like daily kos would.

I then was further shocked seeing threads where it was okay for Newt Gingrich to endorse Romney but not Mrs. Bachmann.I also saw you ACTUALLY ACCEPT money in the FReeperthon thread from a dying man without a job. Please take the time to explain this or I will be forced to assume you are a lowlife if you don't.There may be a story behind it,I hope. But it sure doesn't look good. Please give that man his money back now! Have you lost your mind,Mister Robinson?

I bing searched Newt,Bachmann,Perry supporting Mitt Romney news articles and found threads from free republic that I thought were from daily kos.I know from reading an old bio a long time ago, that you are a former democrat.I ask: who could support Obama I mean really!? Did you get so disgusted with the GOP you are a democrat now?Am I posting on a democratic forum? WHAT IS GOING ON?Please kindly explain. Thank-You!

Why is it you are speaking for the tea party? The tea party is a big tent with people that are not as diehard as you with social issues.Upon further reading of threads why haven't you ceased the bigotry and mormon hating threads and the nasty posts running people off posted by the very people that help you in the FReeperthon threads? You need to reign in the group of hate that control this forum.ONE presently has no screen name and the others are just as nasty.

If this post is deleted or you do not reply to me; it will answer all my questions immediately and I will assume you have gone back to being democrat as only democrats act wishy washy and support Obama. You know darn well if you don't vote for Romney and encourage others not too and continue allowing other conservative candidates to be trashed on your forum; you are electing Obama.

There will be no 2016 election. And it matters not who wins in 2012

I believe you're right. Our last Civil War didn't prevent national elections; this one will because of the utter chaos in the Democrat-controlled cities will prevent it.

Thank you, Jim.

Symbolically - and, perhaps one day soon, literally -we all crouch shoulder to shoulder in the same foxhole on the front lines, facing the same enemy: Our ideas about tactics differ, but I’d like at least to think that I fight at the side of folks who knew I was on their side all along.

I thank you very much for your offer, and accept the truce. God bless you, and bless us all, and bless our United States.

Will

Romney will bend to pressure.

Yes, agreed. Romney has too much chameleon in him, but that may work to our advantage. There's more of us (R's) than them (D's). Jim R would disagree, but Romney's performance in Massachusetts may be misleading, given the liberal environment in which he was forced to swim.

Since Rick and Newt's concessions, I've sensed a boldness in Romney. No doubt he's ready to pounce on our problems and will act decisively. I expect a freeze on hiring on day one, for example. Shrink the gubmint by attrition if not by wholesale dept. closings/consolidations. After all, that is his wheelhouse. Economy is his strength. He seems committed to reducing taxes, opening up oil and gas which will ignite the pent up economy. It will roar.

Socially, I have a hard time believing Romney -- a squeaky clean Mormon must I remind you--will move left, while the majority of the country is center right and moving right. In short, I hope and believe he'll be comfortable in a conservative environment, rather than stuck in a liberal cesspool like Massachusetts. He's already indicated he's willing to take on Obama, much more so than McCain ever thought of doing.

The real tugging will occur within the R's. If we can't tug him to the right as far as we like, we'll grow the T-Party even more until we can't be denied. Repeat; Romney will bend to pressure.

We have to work together. My plan is not to talk to sellout Rombots at all..in fact, treat them like the Westboro "God loves dead soldiers" morons and just turn my back on them, all I work on more important things. The Rombots are now dead to me....

Your post is not constructive, nor helpful.

It’s not all about you.

Make a donation to the Freepathon (link’s at the homepage) then sit back and watch for a while, m’kay?

FR is not the enemy.

And please don’t insult Mr. Thompson. You insult Mr. Thompson, you insult all FReepers.

Chill out.

Therefore I hereby propose a general truce among our conservative forces!!

No need for any truce if they're actually conservative.

If they're not actually conservative, in other words if they're Romney Republicans, a truce amounts to a cessation of hostilities, which means they've won.

No thanks.
