That’s the difference between connotation and denotation. Really, this is shaping up to be a battle of the unbelievers. Obama AND Romney. Choose a poison, or boycott the process, but do something.

Both it and here have their own special virtues. FR digs very deep. TH is more open to screaming liberals (but by that creates the opportunity to argue publicly with them).

The scenario you describe has nothing to do with the kind of nasty, “you’re-a-Godless liberal and I’m a chosen one” comments I was referring to, although perhaps your imagination enables you to convince yourself of that. They’re not a secret. I’m hardly the only one to notice.

I do not believe unity will be gained towards what to do about Mitt Romney. If there can be a detente with mutual respect between the never Romney camps (JR is in it) and the possibly Romney camps (like me) without feeling the need to harangue and troll, maybe progress can be made. If Mitt Romney manages to (figuratively) strangle Barack Obama with a pair of his magic long johns, well I won’t weep for Barack. But then I probably will begin to groan over Mitt’s wild hairs which could make a fur coat.
