Dan Rather: Americans 'too tough' on Obama (for criticizing his junket to Afghanistan)
Washington Examiner ^ | May 2, 2012 | Joel Gehrke

Dan Rather, the former CBS anchor, argued that the reaction to President Obama's trip to Afghanistan yesterday shows that Americans are "too tough" on him and presidents in general.

"I think we are [too tough]," Rather said on Morning Joe when asked. "And we can see it and hear it today in the reaction to President Obama's appearance last night in Kabul . . . I think we are too tough on our presidents." He added that sometimes Americans "aren't tough enough on our presidents," who can receive "too much leeway."

But it’s not too tough to lie about GWB like you did, Dan?

Let me guess. We’re too tough on liberal democrats and just not tough enough on republicans.

Go back to irrelevance, Dan

Dan, can you say, “Fake but accurate”, “Rathergate” or “Memogate”?

Some people are just too stupid to understand how stupid they are.

I remember GWB flying in to Iraq or Afghanistan on Thanksgiving. No speech, nothing. Just serving our troops Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm sure that was political and we weren't critical enough then.

Now, Obama talks about getting Osama and flys to Afghanistan on the anniversary of Osamas date with destiny, and then sends a shout out TO HIMSELF.

That OBVIOUSLY wasn't political and we're being too tough on him.

We the People elected him (supposedly, I didn’t vote for him) so he is OUR employee. As his boss, We the People deserve to know about him.

Note that Obama could not get hired where I work, he could not pass the NSA security background investigation for even a Confidential clearance.

It isn’t even worth going over this demented liberal’s failings anymore....why would anyone with any sense listen to him anymore? He should just give up the ghost and save us all the trouble of listening to him.

Yeah, I remember well how loudly Rather complained about all of the phony leftist outrage over "Mission Accomplished".

Wait, wut?

How can we “contact” Dan? I’d like to tell him what I really “feel” about his decades of lies, distortions and America hating. He looks like hell anyway so I’d like to let him know, with certainty, that many Americans hate his guts and want him to disappear. I vomit on his face!
Have a nice day, ;)

guess I’ll have to lay off of Rather for the same reason I’ve laid off Ralph Nader in recent years.

It’s too cruel and un-Christian to pick on guys who are going senile.

Well Dan boy , it’s like this.

America didn’t start out being too tough on the President, but over time he earned it.

His first trip on Air Force One was to Williamsburg, a 30 minute flight by helicopter. But No , He wabted to get a load of the pleasures of having his ass kissed all the way there and the super perks aboard Air Force One. That was just the beginning. Along came other flights practically every other day, Vacations up the ying-yang, trips to Camp David, Golfing Trips on a separate plane for his wife , Christmas in Hawaii,a trip to Mexico for his daughter and 12 friends,—— Too Numerous to mention campaign trips, parties at the White House both public and in secret.

No Dan— we didn’t start out being too tough on the Dingleberry, he earned it.
