All the doom and gloom stuff I predicted is about to happen. Sad times. Glenn beck and other said stuff too. But basically we have problems. And they are getting worse. Too much for the tea party to quickly fix. After this election I may just do what US Navy Vet did and leave the GOP. This is not the same party that I joined.

I totally understand. I am from Texas too, and I have never been able to vote for my choice either. All the candidates have always been culled out before it comes our turn to vote and Tx just has to suck it up and take whats left. I cant for the life of me understand why it is this way. Its so unfair to give the northern liberal states the privilege of voting first!! Why cant the whole United States vote the same day???

Sadly, this country is so divided, that it may take angry blowback in the form of a second American revolution down the road.

His “candidacy” served no other purpose...just another FRaud Thompson to ensure the RINO wins.

Why didn’t he do this months ago?

Could be because he wasn't yet $4.3 million in debt.

How ironic that "Mr. Balanced Budget" would run up such a tab.

Texas hasn’t even had a primary yet, and there is talk of postponing it longer.

I feel betrayed and disenfranchized...the NEW “real” world I guess. :(

Well if we can vote as many right wingers at every level EVEN Village Trustees, it will make a HUGE difference!!!

The Republican running for Congress is my newly gerrymandered district is a right wing tea party member. He was a Santorum delegate and I really hope he wins. The rat who currently holds the job (Dem Dan Lipinski) inherited the office from his father.

That's Illinois for ya!

Um, I’m confused. Does this mean Newt is still good, or is he now evil? Keeping track of the daily rants and tantrums has me spinning. Let’s see:

1) Ann Coulter was good, then said something we didn’t like, so now she’s evil.

2) Paul Ryan was good, then said something we didn’t like, so now he’s evil.

3) Karl Rove (that magnificent bastard, as he was adoringly called by so many FReepers), was good, but then said something we didn’t like, so now he’s evil.

4) Newt Gingrich was good, but then dropped out of the race after he said he’d stay in, so he’s now evil?

The list goes on and on. My goodness it’s hard to keep up with who’s good and who’s evil here on FR.

Oh, and NO sarcasm tag.

I respect Newt however,at some point with very little cash and bieng in debt you do have to be realistic. As for a Rick who I thing bowed-out knowing he couldn’t win his home State.
Big difference.
I will not vote this election. Period......

Great post! Thanks for the link.

Look, I don’t want to vote for r-Omni either. But, unless there’s a third party candidate waiting in the wings who can inspire the nation, the battle for the combatant to go up against Obama is over with.

We lost that battle.

Time to lick our wounds and regroup.

Ever since Herman Cain was forced out, I’ve known that r-Omni would get the nomination. It’s history repeating itself as was the case in 2008 with McLame’s candidacy.

So, once Herman Cain was hooked off the stage, I turned my attention to the REAL BATTLE:

The Senate and House races!!!

Right now, I am actively campaigning for the conservative House and Senate candidates here in Missouri.

If we can shake things up and infuse the House and Senate with a majority of conservatives, then IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO IS IN THE FREAKIN’ WHITEHOUSE!!!

Redraw your battle lines, my friend, and focus on the House and Senate races.

That is where we will win or lose this war!

Cheers

And Romney, Dr. Evil himself, don't cast a vote for him either. One needs to understand that if one looses in the primary, the only recourse is to try and get the Democrat elected. That will teach them voters.

no surprise

money and a TV network and party apparatus can most definitely foist the nomination they desire on the rest of us

Palin maybe coulda stopped it...even that is doubtful...but I will never understand why Santorum stayed in like he did only to quit...that was what sealed it...had he opted out much earlier Newt woulda had a chance. Damn I mean he quit first and he was ahead of Newt.

We are kinda in a bubble here ...no offense...I include myself.

Milquetoast folks who consider themselves conservative think Romney is fine...safe.

He just doesn't shake the base...and for good reasons...he is a northern liberal Republican in the Lowell Weicker mode.

Given our demographics it is very very hard to get another Magnus nominated much less elected.

This is not 1979-1980 America.

It's like someone said...Romney is just a greased finger in the dike..nothing more.

like when folks have a false rally before death

it sucks but it's a reality everyone here is going to have to deal with...accept, reject or force his feet to the coals like we had to do Bush the whole damned time on everything but the War of Terror

I hate it

I will still write in Gingrich. No way will I EVER vote for Romney, the flip-flopper who only utters what his hearers want to hear.

Sects and Satanic Cults
