These would be devastating images for the Obama administration, GOP strategist Ron Bonjean told The Hill. You have a very important religious demographic coming out in protest of Obamas policies and being arrested for their expression.
Alright .. that is absolutely sick! As a catholic, I don't appreciate being used by a political party to ensure the election of their candidate.

I trust that the progression of time will continue to bring about much opportunity for perplexity for orthodox Catholics.
One day in November would be even better.
It is one thing for the Catholic Bishops to have a flash of passion, it is another thing entirely to translate this seething rage into a lever to move the large number of Catholics who have NEVER strayed from the support of the Democrat party into taking a look for themselves at what is happening.
Today’s Democrat party leadership, and certainly the controlling powers within it, are no friends of the Catholics, or any other Judeo-Christian denomination. The big cheeses are bent on annihilation of dissent, and to gain that objective, they go after the critics within the legions of the serfs and footsoldiers, making examples of the outspoken and the recalcitrant. Expect the Catholic Church, and most other organized religions, to be subjected to scorn and ridicule, and suffer daily impediments to the practice of what they consider good and right.
Does anyone here recall a Catholic priest, Father Charles Coughlin? He began as a strong supporter of the New Deal and FDR, then veered off into the weeds, denouncing Roosevelt as a “lover of Communism” and one of the worst epithets that could be hurled at the time, “Jew lover”, which for many people, put Father Coughlin entirely on the side of Nazi Germany. The question now is whether the Catholic bishops can steer between their criticism of Obama (entirely justified) without going off the rails and turning all reactionary about EVERYTHING the Federal and many state governments are doing.
Eventually, the Catholic Church prevails in these disagreements, as they have pretty much over the past couple of millennia, though they may have had setbacks. The Church ALWAYS remains after kings and despots are long gone, something the Obama regime should keep in mind. After these long conflicts, though, the Church ends up subtly changed, even though they may declare victory.
Such a seminal moment in history is shaping up. Just be on the right side.
And I am sure all denominations would be welcome.
Acts 5:29
But Peter and the Apostles answered and said, “But we must obey God rather than men.”
