OTOH, I see what looks to me an awful lot like attacks on Mormons here.

Look CAREFULLY.

Do I attack the PERSON; or the THEOLOGY?

Dan Liljenquist a former state senator will be his opponent.

The decision will be made with the influence on voters from headquarters in SLC. Has Orrin maxed out on his usefulness?

Great, now let’s get that assbag out! I hope it really energizes people to kick his sorry ass out.

Establishment Repubs, take note. Effing country club repubs, your days are numbered.

You can still be conservative and be in the wrong religion. No law against that. We’ll make more of a point about you being in the wrong religion if you’re NOT a conservative. Especially if you tell us you are but really aren’t.

Not necessarily BECAUSE he’s a Mormon. That’s incidental.

“Mark Levin endorsed Hatch for reelection last year on the basis of all the work he’s done ushering through good judges.”

I was listening to Mark Levin the day that he did that. I thought to myself I’m gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you on this one, Levin. Mark Levin rarely makes a bad call, but he did on this one.

It’s “his” seat, don’t you know? And, he has said he despises those people, meaning Tea Party people. He needs to go down bigtime. Lugar of IN is another one of the same or worse type.

True, it’s not an issue for some; for others it’s part of the package of things they hate him for. I’m pro-Newt but I haven’t worked up to full hatred of Romney yet. And if I do - having worked with and supervised quite a few Mormons - Mormonism won’t be one of the reasons why.

OTOH, I see what looks to me an awful lot like attacks on Mormons here.

Would you be so unconcerned by attacks on Christians?

Mormon leaders boast of sending out missionaries to attack all Christian faiths as false, and claim that the only path to salvation is through the arcane rituals in mormon temples...the rituals that Orrin and Mitt have taken part in.

We are grateful for the 52,225 full-time missionaries serving in more than 150 countries.16 The sun never sets on righteous missionaries testifying of the Savior mormon church. Think of the spiritual power of 52,000 missionaries, endowed with the Spirit of the Lord Joseph Smith, boldly declaring that there is “no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come … , only in and through the name of Christ. mormon church temple rituals

"My young brethren of the priesthood, I testify of the majesty, but most of all, of the certainty of this magnificent event. The Savior lives. He will return to the earth (the Second Coming) . And whether on this side of the veil or the other, you and I will rejoice in His coming and thank the Lord that He sent us to earth at this time to fulfill our sacred duty of helping prepare the world for His return the mormon theocracy

."other people, who may not yield full obedience to his laws, nor be fully instructed in his covenants, will, nevertheless, have to yield full obedience to his government. For it will be the reign of God upon the earth, and he will enforce his laws, and command that obedience from the nations of the world which is legitimately his right” (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: John Taylor [2001], 225).

Mormons see Mitt Romney as a key figure in the following:

Preparing the World for the Second Coming-LDS.org, April 2011

Anyone who believes that Romney isn't fully immersed in this doctrine and the Law of Consecration is a fool: The Law of Consecration is considered by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be a "celestial law." That is, people who are living lives dedicated to the service of God, such that at judgment they would be assigned to the Celestial Kingdom, should be able and expected to live the Law of Consecration. The Law of Consecration is that, if necessary or requested, a person would give everything he has for the building up of the Kingdom of God on Earth. He would be willing to wholeheartedly give of his time, talents, and resources. Thus, the person is "consecrating" all his personal resources to the Lord.

I suggest some research into a subject before you come out in defense of it.

Hatch hopefully will say something “smart” now that will sink him in the primary. I imagine Romney will come out to UT for a week to beef up Hatch. People in UT really wouldn’t want to lose their hatch.

It says a lot about Hoosiers that their senior senator was once Richard Nixon’s favorite mayor and now Obama’s favorite Repubican. I suspect Hoosiers will retain him with that kind of praise.
