"Vladimir Putin has confirmed Russia has been testing mind-bending psychotronic guns that can effectively turn people into zombies." Well, I think they probably are using it already, say, at MSNBC. There's zombies already at MSNBC.LOL..could very well be.

Until the Feds get out of the way of industry and establish cerified foundries in this country, we remain at risk.
(”Foundry” = Manufacture of any component or base material, to be included in higher assembly.)

‘fake’ electronics could also be transmitting where and when our military equipment is, for those in China interested in such things...

Zombie Ray-Gun?
I don't speak Russian but Putin might has meant this...

“US Weapons ‘Full of Fake Chinese Parts’ — Thousands of United States’ warplanes, ships and missiles contain fake electronic components from China, leaving them open to malfunction, according to a US Senate committee.”
This is ancient news that goes back at least as far as Slick’s first term. Military brass and Congress chose to do NOTHING.

A weapon that turns people into zombies?
The Russians already have one of those.
It’s called “vodka”.

I find this hard to believe. My final few (of 17) years at
Texas Instruments were spent in the
Military High Reliability Components department. Everything we shipped was built, tested, screened, and qualified to full Mil-spec standards. Don't tell me the US military has stopped insisting on Mil-spec parts...
This story smells...
