(RAEFORD) – The pre-K teacher involved in the “chicken nuggets” incident in Hoke County changed her version of what happened after undergoing three separate interrogations. Margaret Maynor was brought to tears in the third session. She submitted her resignation soon after.

In a highly unusual move, the Hoke County School System released documents from the teacher’s personnel file purportedly showing why the pre-K instructor resigned.

Previous articles reported some students with homemade lunches were given trays of school food because their bag lunches didn’t meet federal nutrition standards. One girl didn’t touch her homemade lunch and just ate three school chicken nuggets.

"Got that "free" daycare, so what else matters? They have to get the children ready for the next 13 years of schooling by teaching them mindless compliance with authority, or when they're 12 or so, they might LoL at this immense woman lecturing them about proper nutrition ... and then they might question Michelle Obama's moral authority, and then where would we be?"

Yeah! Get them properly educated to submit to government authority or they might turn into Katniss (For Hunger Games fans), and that can be real dangerous for brittle, authoritarian regimes.

She looks hefty. Only 3 chicken nuggets for her.

Looks like the former ‘teacher’ needs to be on a 3 chicken nugget diet herself, one for breakfast, one for lunch, one for dinner.

No worries about malnutrition, she can “live off the fat of the land” since she’s packin’ about 10 acres of it on her hips.

She’s just another commie teacher mis-educating our youth. No....I don’t believe this is a firing offense, she resigned actually but.... Her real crime is she made nanny state leftists look bad because there was an uprising over what she did

It would appear from the article that there was a Party Official present rhoughout this debacle, and that the local commissars weren’t convinced the teacher was sufficiently contrite during the first two re-education panels. They only offered their approval of her commitment to communism at the third session, after which she resigned.

The methods of the Chinese People’s Cultural Revolution have come to America.

She got thrown under the bus to make the incident go away.

But we know the policy will still be there. They will just keep it on the down low for a while and then start it all over again.

I always got the idea they never intended for the rules and regulations to be followed, but rathered to be broken. They cannot control a populance that is following rules. So they make rules that are by design, made to be broken.

If they let her eat the lunch she brought from home and then sent her through the line for more food, that was OK, but to take her lunch away and then send her through the line is not a “supplement.”

The whole thing reeks of stalinism. It is reminiscent of a scene out of 1984 where Winston, having been broken thru torture, says he loves Big Brother, and then the State puts a bullet in his head.

The pre-K teacher?????????????

Pre-K huh? I didn’t realize that cradle to grave indoctrination was fully in force in our country. I thought it would be fully implemented after the election of 2012.

Looks like the modern American way of life is to be a single mother and immerse your extremely young child to social indoctrination by our school systems as surrogate parents.

Back in my day we had mothers called “housewives.” Stay at home real mommies who taught us right from wrong and raised us to be good Americans and respect life and property.

I guess those times will never return for the self-fulfillment and “Me” generation has come to maturity.

I just read the reviews of “Hunger Games.” My 14-year-old is going to see it today. We like anti-government messages ;-).

When my nephew was in elementary in the 80s, his mother would send him to school with a mustard and lettuce sandwich. No meat. Not variations. Just two slices of white bread with a slather of mustard and a leaf of lettuce.

Why?

Because that was all he would eat. He wouldn’t eat ‘school’ meals. All he wanted was those mustard and lettuce sandwiches.

Even at home, that was about all he would eat. By junior high, he had discovered a liking for hamburgers, though.

==

My sister did talk to the teachers early in each school year and explain the spartan lunch she sent with him.

At scout camp good, though rather plain meals are served.

There is also a table with peanut butter, bread, and jelly. Some kids always eat the pbj because that is all they eat

I suggest her real crime is being an recidivist “Oxygen Thief”.

Is this article supposed to make me feel sorry for her? She’s a damned idiot with no sense. She just follows stupid rules to the letter with no judgement utilized at any point.

Good riddance. Only 400 billion more similar gov’t employees to go.
