I don’t WANT someone to be endorsed because they’re Catholic, or black, or female or anything OTHER than “they’re the best person for the job.”

They can’t stand Newt, so the fact that he’s Catholic doesn’t help with that endorsement wish you have. And as for Rick, since he made his name on social issues, that’s anthema to the elitists...to make your identity on those.
