Jeb Bush Endorses Mitt Romney
abc ^

Posted on 03/21/2012 8:02:50 AM PDT by sunmars

ormer Florida Governor Jeb Bush endorsed Mitt Romney after Romney’s lopsided win in Illinois Tuesday night. The former Florida Governor – a Republican heavyweight – called on members of the party to coalesce behind Romney.

“Congratulations to Governor Mitt Romney on his win last night and to all the candidates for a hard fought, thoughtful debate and primary season,” said Bush in a statement. “Primary elections have been held in thirty-four states, and now is the time for Republicans to unite behind Governor Romney and take our message of fiscal conservatism and job creation to all voters this fall. I am endorsing Mitt Romney for our Party’s nomination. We face huge challenges, and we need a leader who understands the economy, recognizes more government regulation is not the answer, believes in entrepreneurial capitalism and works to ensure that all Americans have the opportunity to succeed.”

Bush, the brother of former President George W. Bush, is a much-respected voice in the party and was considered by some to be a leading contender for the nomination if he had d was courted by some conservatives as an alternative candidate. But he rejected calls for his candidacy. Romney also won the primary in Bush’s home state of Florida.

His father, former President George H.W. Bush has also endorsed Romney.

Prescott Bush was the first of the bad Bushes, or was there one before Prescott? Bushes though are not RINOs; it’s the conservatives who are the true “Republicans” in name only.

“While things are no totally over for Santorum and certainly over for Gingrich, I think we have to resign ourselves to Romney being the GOP nominee. Despite Romney’s shortcomings on conservative principles he would be infinitely better as President than a second term for Obama. What conservatives need to do is stick to our principles and see that Romney runs to the right of center and picks a team that includes many conservatives. We have to avoid the mealy mouthed middle of the road lets compromise with liberals that was the hallmark of the McCane disaster. Obama is beatable if we stick to his record and put some fire in Romney’s belly.”

-Wishful thinking, but not happening. If Romney hasn’t got the fire in his belly by now he never will.

And here people thought Jeb was the “smart one”. At least this should put an end to the Bush dynasty, now that they’ve exposed themselves once and for all as the RINOs they are.

Nothing in your predictions will come true...nothing.

First of all, the Tea Party supported Romney in IL to the tune of 47%, so there is nothing to get rid of. The Tea Party is a “secular” bunch, so you know they wouldn't support a moral man like Santorum, by and large.

Santorum will not get nor even be offered the VP slot and Santorum can still win the nomination. It ain't over yet, but I see you're more than willing to throw in his towel.

Newt lost, all on his own, nobody did it for him and nobody is going to reward him for his contribution to the destruction of this race.

Romney and his liberal and greedy PAC have bought his success, to date - that can still change. We still have a chance to right the wrongs of worshiping greed.

There is no doubt the picture posted is a one-world-government picture, but I wouldn't be surprised if Newt took the picture himself.

We'll never make it to a 2016 race before everyone in this evil nation is begging God for mercy. And, with that being the case, we'll have morality back in the forefront of our criteria as it should be.

Karl Rove can be Romney’s White House spokesperson. Get McCain a spot too! 4 years later, we can run Jed, and Rove can be his VP!!

The GOP E supports the GOP E - who woulda thunk it!

The GOP E is saying they support PRO HOMO agenda, PRO ABORTION, anti-traditional Marriage, Socialism Big Gov’t healthcare, appt of liberal judges.

Can we agree there is ONE ideology disguised in two parties. Like they got Americans going and coming!

Time for a 2nd party - the GOP E is a front for the liberals - they are one party!

Bushs would endorse Obama if he was in the GOP. All I’m seeing in this endorsement though is “Pick Me Mitty Pick Me”. If GW Bush had not wanted the programs we have today and the expansion of presidential powers and federal agencies he dreamed up that took place under his terms maybe Obama would have been Constitutionally held in check. For what is going on today thank “W” for setting the precedents for it. All three Bushs no difference in them whatsoever except age.

His ONE World Gov’t daddy Bush hijacked the Republican party and aligned themselves with the rats/socialism. That’s why the conservative era is dead to them. In ideology they are ONE party, for votes they are two.

We never had a conservative president or a conservative push after he was VP to the greatest president. They despise conservatives, they trash them but will claim when ‘IT” suits their purpose to deceive - for votes.

Either that, or just let Obama get in and let the entire THING collapse like a house of cards

It's going to crash no matter who wins or what happens so we might as well get started. The sooner it happens the sooner we can rebuild.
