.........[SNIP]...........
And now? What of Sleep Train?
The Los Angeles Times tells us that Sleep Train, thanks to furious Rush Ralliers, has come crawling back to Rush begging -- begging -- to come back on the program.
And Rush said: no.
Specifically, a spokesman for Rush said in response to the begging-to return Sleep Train:
Unfortunately, your public comments were not well received by our audience, and did not accurately portray either Rush Limbaugh's character or the intent of his remarks. Thus, we regret to inform you that Rush will be unable to endorse Sleep Train in the future.
Taken in by the likes of MSNBC's Phil Griffin, unaware of the association between NBC anchor Brian Williams and Comcast/NBC's Al "punk faggot" Sharpton, unaware of the Daily Caller series linking MSNBC to its Media Matters ally, Sleep Train, plain and simple, got skunked.
And now, Dale Carlsen and his company are paying the price for this.
Conservatives, as the late Andrew Breitbart memorably noted in his last CPAC speech, are a different breed than they were in the day when Ronald Reagan's General Electric Theater was forced off the air by the Left in 1962 -- because then-actor Reagan had been critical of the Kennedy administration.
Said Breitbart: "Conservatives used to take it and we're not taking it anymore."
Indeed they don't. They understand exactly what Phil Griffin, Brian Williams (who, as I recall, was an intern in the Carter White House), Al Sharpton, and all their progressive buddies are up to. And they know that Brian Roberts sits at the top of the pyramid as the head of Comcast.
............There's more to tell. And we will now be telling this story twice a week right here in The American Spectator.

That explains a lot...
The media made sure to get rid of Palin and Bachman before the primaries started.
The "Michelle" in my previous post refers to Michelle Malkin, who is decidedly not a politician. Apologies to her for that inference. But, you get the idea...
I saw FoxNews for the first time in a while at someone else’s house. When Shep started his hour, I was shocked by how terrible he looks. He’s either sick or anorexic. Reminds me of a local newscaster who was anorexic. We saw her go over time from a lovely woman to practically skin and bones before she died. Not a big fan of Shep’s but still, prayers up for some health intervention and healing, one way or another.
Way, way past time for equal play.
Someone in my household said, "Looks like AIDS caught up with him".
Maybe he’s on the bottle again. Wait, even after hitting someone drunk, did he ever get off the bottle?
He also used to work at the Pancake House in Middletown, NJ.
Criminal !
While I appreciate your observation re: Shep, I wish we could keep the comments on our threads to the subject of the story. I come in to read what people are saying and, just like that, we’re off the subject at hand. It’s probably unfair to post this to you, likely the first time you’ve ever done it, but I just wish that when I come in to check my gut and learn more from the perspectives of what I truly feel are the smartest people I know (unfortunately I don’t really “know” any of you) that it stayed on the topic I came in to learn more about. And please don’t smack me for saying so... but I do think it needs to be said somewhere!
rofl
Conservatives...you have righteous anger on your side. Roll up your sleeves, clench your fists, and bloody their damn nose.
Sleep Train was the last good thing Cat Stevens ever did before joining the Jihad...
Lord’s stuff is a lot of fun to read.
Defintitely worth the click.
I'd advise Rush to announce on the air that if Dale Carlsen came on his show and apologized to Rush and his audience that he got duped by the left, was sorry and would never cancel again, that Rush would take him back.
Not only would it be good for business {both Sleep Number and Rush} it would put an end to this ridiculous BS that the left is droning on and on about.
Can we file this under: “Boycotts really DO work...”
Lots of folks think they don’t and though it may work both ways, if the majority of the populace is “right-leaning” and take their money elsewhere, the “right” message gets noticed...
I thought it was Peace Train?
Sadly,
You never saw that the post and link URL referred anyone interested to a different thread and not YOUR thread.
Once I find out someone I meet is a Democrat, I get away from them immediately. There is no earthly reason to invest any precious time with them. That includes relatives.
