In todays Rattle, we cover everything from the Obama administrations continued dismantling of border security and immigration enforcement, to the trivialization of the Civil Rights Movement by the open borders left, to congressional oversight into Attorney General Eric Holders obstruction of justice in the Fast and Furious probe.
But first, we look at the increasingly misnamed Southern Poverty Law Center, which continues its progressive slide into buffoonery with a report into the national security threat posed by purportedly misogynistic weblogs. As Mark Krikorian explains in The Corner, the SPLC has adopted new hate objects now that its demonization of patriotic immigration reformers has run its course. Notwithstanding the dearth of civil rights violations by non-government entities or white-on-black crimes-the ostensible raison detre for the organization, the SPLC continues to rake in millions of dollars from credulous liberals. Even so, the fundamental illegitimacy of Morris Dees operation hasnt escaped notice, and its laughable mission is now the source of mockery on countless blogs and websites.
On a much more distressing note, yet another vicious attack by an illegal alien has been recorded in Lexington, South Carolina. In a case of life imitating art, Jose Hernandez Mendez has been charged with a string of brutal machete attacks against innocent South Carolinians and is being held on an immigration detainer

Lots of ideas for graphics.
I think the narrator should be in a cemetery, at the end of the video.
The basic theme would be to touch on “Fast and Furious” showing newspaper clippings, and then remind everyone that Holder and Obama forced gun dealers to sell weapons to Mexican drug lords.
Make the point that Obama and Holder sacrificed Mexican lives in a corrupt attempt get the U.S. Senate to pass a Treaty with Mexico, restricting 2nd Amendment rights.
“Obama sacrificed Mexican lives, like we were just pawns in some big political game. We owe Obama nothing but contempt!”
I would suggest the ad be done in SPANISH, with English subscripts.
The ad would go viral, on YouTube.
NRA members would love it.
Hispanics would also replay it and send it to their friends and family.
Well, I would agree with Holder that Fast and Furious itself is RACIST!
(Black thugs often do not like Mexican thugs)
Check out this..Obama Apologizes For Afghan Slayings, Still Ignores Mexican Fast And Furious Murders
President Barack Obama has never apologized to Mexican President Felipe Calderon for the 300 civilians murdered with weapons the United States provided to Mexicos drug cartels, but on Sunday he found time to place a call to Afghan president Hamid Karzai apologizing for deaths caused by an American soldier this weekend in Afghanistan.
The Daily Caller asked the White House why Obama hasnt similarly apologized to Calderon for the murders that resulted from the U.S. policy of providing weapons to the Mexican cartels. Obama spokesman Eric Schultz did not answer.
The Obama administrations Fast and Furious program organized by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and overseen by the Department of Justice sent thousands of weapons to Mexican drug cartels via straw purchasers, or people who legally purchase guns in the United States with the intention of illegally trafficking them somewhere else. This tactic is known as gunwalking.
Neither Holder nor Obama has made such an apology to the Mexican government.
In a statement on this weekends Afghanistan tragedy, Obama said he wanted to get the facts as quickly as possible and to hold accountable anyone responsible.
Schultz didnt answer when TheDC asked him if Obama supports the same goals with regard to Fast and Furious.
The Obama administration has instead stonewalled Congress on the issue, refusing to reply to subpoenas from Issa. Out of 80,000 pages worth of documents Issa has lawfully subpoenaed, the DOJ has only provided about 6,000 or 7,000 pages to Congress. The DOJ has, however, given all of those documents to its internal investigator, the Inspector General.
Holder has not provided any legal reason as to why hes withholding these documents from Congress and the American people, but the attorney general has claimed that hes not covering anything up.
