And we wonder why people are cynical. Pool owners ought to bring a class action lawsuit.
To: Nachum
Every swimming pool should simply close, lay off its strictly-pool-related workers, and issue big, plain-worded notices that this is 100% due to the Obamastration.

For the money this country has spent on ADA compliance, we could have hired someone to physically carry around every cripple in the country.
To: Nachum
The ADA was the early 1990’s version of Obamacare. It was falsely sold to the American public as a way to get those with disabilities off public assistance and into productive jobs. It had nothing to do with that, it was about getting the hand of government into every nook and cranny of American life. Those of us that realized this were told by the Republican establishment that our worries were nothing but baseless fear mongering. Worst of all it was pushed through by king RINO of the day Bob Dole.

—But if you have two spas, don’t worry, only one lift is required.—
Hmmm. Sounds like “separate but equal”.
Wait a second! It didn’t even say “equal”. :-)

When someone, or something, is pushing you, one of the best defenses is to step aside and let them fall on their face.

Did the Odd Ball Cabaret in California finally install the wheelchair ramp for the on stage shower, or did the rip it out and require all their strippers, regardless of disabilities, gyrate dry.

I designed and built a home many years ago(80's). Handicapped doors at 3'-0" were required on a six level home. There was no way any handicapped person could access any but the ground floor so making all doors handicapped accessible was outrageous.
A contractor decided to skirt the issue and made all doors save the first level two feet-six inches.
The remodeling created serious revenue problems. The contractor for all purposes was correct in his reasoning, however the laws and codes overruled him no matter the logic.

What’s the difference between a catfish and an attorney?
One’s a bottom-dwelling, scum-sucking scavenger...
The other’s a fish.

What’s brown and black and looks good on an attorney?
A Doberman

They’ve started using attorneys rather than rats for some laboratory experiments:
It seems the researchers were becoming emotionally attached to the rats - and besides, there are some things you can’t get a rat to do for money.
