While Sansone was being strip searched at the police station: told to disrobe, lift his t*sticles and bend over, his wife was home with their 15-month-old daughter.
A gun was eventually found at the Sansone home, a toy gun that is. This story might as well happen in Obama's own nightmare police state regime.

I bet they searched "thoroughly".
I guarantee this arrest was just a pretext to search the home.

he was charged with possession of a firearm
But it sounds like no firearm was ever found... What's up with that?

Well, let me give you a hint, junior. Maybe we can live without libraries, people like you and me. Maybe.
Sure, we're too old to change the world, but what about that kid, sitting down, opening a book, right now, in a branch at the local library and finding drawings of pee-pees and wee-wees on the Cat in the Hat and the Five Chinese Brothers?
Doesn't HE deserve better?

I’m pretty sure thought crime was involved - so he had it coming. After the reorientation he will be a better citizen (if he lives).

We Canadians had a major victory in the repeal of the Long Gun Registry. Unfortunately, we still have idiotic incidents like this one happening all the time. It’s not quite as bad as Britain, where the dad would have gotten jail time for a pencil drawing of a gun, but still it’s crazy. The problem is this: Liberalism is a mental illness, it’s at epidemic levels here in Canada and it’s strongly manifested whenever guns or Christianity are mentioned or suspected. You would THINK, that the child’s mention of “monsters” would have tipped off the idiot principal and cops that maybe this is just a child’s imagination. And if that didn’t occur to them, why stop at gun charges? Why not charge daddy with pointing a firearm ( a serious crime here) at the monster, or animal cruelty?

I bet the writers for “Flashpoint”, the TV show about an obviously Canadian SWAT team, are just wearing out their word processors writing this episode. Definitely a “Made for TV” story, just needs the crack SWAT team with their upside-down chevrons to make Canaduh safe from such a scourge.
