When he stays “on message” so to speak, he is the wise old owl and is exactly what we need.
I think the main reason people are not falling over themselves to vote for him has to do with the perception that he is easily distracted.
That was my main reluctance initially.
But we live in very troubliing times.
I am still concerned but I got over that tendency when I realized its a choice between someone who appears to be in league with the devil or a flawed human being.
There is no question that Gingrich is 10,000 times better for America than an Obama-nation.

The distraction issue has been raised a number of times. What people fail to understand is that many believe that you should only focus on a single issue at a time. Newt is a multitasker. His mind can handle the overload and remain functional. Other minds will just crash like your computer at times. Some can not handle this approach and therefore claim he is scatterbrained because their own mind can't keep up with the man. This is why he is hated in the Beltway Republican crowd. He makes the lamebrains feel inferior. If you are going to get this country out of this mess, you will need to juggle dozens of issues simultaneously.
