Newt IS the real thing. Romney just looked doubly mean last night. I would not want someone with THAT nasty personality running the WH.

Santorum with those clenching teeth and head shakes, just always looked irritated and lawyerlike.

Paul is like the guest you’d just wish would leave.

The morning after points, of course, to Gingrich as the winner and Romney holding his own. Santorum seems to be the overall loser for failing to make many points.

Just listened to Fox coverage on the way to work (XM radio). Had 3 or 4 minute discussion and Newt's name not mentioned, not once. Earlier on F&F, they had a similar discussion and all they could do was gush over Romney's performance and how the audience was with him (yeah, I know, Mormons heavily populate the PHX area). Newt was ignored in the conversation - Fox must have a standing order to not mention him unless he stumbles and says something stupid or inappropriate.

I may just change the truck radio channel to CNN or Bloomberg or listen to Laura.

True Oregon has a debate scheduled on Mar. 19 and that will be after 44% of the delegates have been chosen. I’m not sure it will be or have a national showing based upon the sponsors.

Sponsor: Oregon Public Broadcasting, NPR, PBS, The Washington Times and the Oregon Republican Party

I think the main reason people are not falling over themselves to vote for him has to do with the perception that he is easily distracted.

The distraction issue has been raised a number of times. What people fail to understand is that many believe that you should only focus on a single issue at a time. Newt is a multitasker. His mind can handle the overload and remain functional. Other minds will just crash like your computer at times. Some can not handle this approach and therefore claim he is scatterbrained because their own mind can't keep up with the man. This is why he is hated in the Beltway Republican crowd. He makes the lamebrains feel inferior. If you are going to get this country out of this mess, you will need to juggle dozens of issues simultaneously.

Yes, not even a mention of Newt. He made many outstanding statements and won the debate. Hopefully Americans see through all of this. . . We'll see. . I don't know. . .

I believe Newt’s characteristics may indicate ADHD with a touch of Asperger’s Syndrome. Such characteristics make him superior in multitasking and not concerned about how people react to him. This is just my humble opinion.
