Our side has the national trend on its side-Obama is not popular in Virginia-but it has demographics and fundraising against it. Tim Kaine has been a much fundraiser than George Allen so far and the population growth has been in northern Virginia (aka NOVA), which is populated by government workers. Anything can happen.

If Governor Bob McDonnell is the Vice Presidential nominee, it could help Allen over the top.

If we can’t flip Penn’s electoral votes, we need Va and NC.
This doesn’t look too promising.

Has the liberal media put out any ads asking for people to send them new racist buzz words yet?

Government workers? It's about 1 out of 7 working people in Northern Virginia is an employee of the federal government (or a member of the military).

They vote but they don't control things.

There are about 70,000 people who work for NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND FOUNDATIONS. They live mostly in Arlington and Alexandria and participate freely in politics ~ which the government employees are not allowed to do.

They control TWO Congressional districts.

So, that's it folks ~ ain't as big as they make it out to be.

BTW, McDonnell's screw up that left us without a presidential primary makes him not terribly popular. If he were running as VP with Romney Kaine would probably win overwhelmingly.

Actually the fed gov’t workers all live in MD

Here in Northern VA, and in particular Falls Church, we are all major defense contractors (Northrup Grumman, CSC, Dyncorp, General Dynamics all HQ’d in the same office park in Falls Church)

However, like gov’t workers, contractors are on the teet of the federal govt

what is truly sickening is that after all the rats have done to our country, any rat can get elected to anything.
this should be 85-15
it is not looking good for the future.

McDonnell is to blame for only Romney and Paul being on the ballot?

Bolling is Romney's vice chairman in Virginia. Goober went along with him on that business.

These guys ran as Conservatives ~ they're doing politics the same way Rockefeller Republicans did it. They cheat!
