The move by President Obama on Friday to alter his rule requiring birth-control coverage, shifting the mandate from some religious-based employers directly to insurance plans, hasnt satisfied the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and some other critics. But Obamas revised rule appears to have won over Republican Sens. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine. Both had called for changes to the original rule despite their support in the past for a bill with a similar objective.

I think at least one is “Catholic”.
wow.
What a couple of dunces.
Collins
Collins is RC, Snowe is “Orthodox”, in name anyway.
It is still unconstitutional and it is still socialism.
when we finally gain control of the Republican Party, Job One is going to be kicking them out.
Of course they would. Effing RINOs. With Senators like these, who needs a Constitution.
Idiots of a feather, prat together.
And the RINO Sisters bend at the waist and hike their skirts up for the Leftists once again.
Maine, what is WRONG with you?
His rediculous shell game of a "compromise" is apparant to anyone with a centilla of reasoning power and not so hooked on the handouts and doles that they don't care. Nothing changed...he simply tried to divert attention. but the Catholic leadership sees it, the GOP stalwarts see it, the American people see it, and even some dems are so uncomfortable with it (they are realizing that they too are frogs in the increasingly hot water in the pot) .
This man is a domestic enemy to the constitution. In order to protect the constitution we simply must turn this man and his administration out before he completely takes it apart and renders it null by his executive fiats, and the acts that the complicit congress have passed to support him.
God grant that we may do so this November.
.
This is “a good move” in the manner of the parable of the deceitful manager...
0bama is using a deceitful process in order to further his power in the world.
I know Snowe is up for re election this year.....any chance of a Primary Challenge?
Free stuff grows on trees in the northeast woods. Obama’s original plan was “deeply flawed” but this is a good move in the “right direction”. sheesh.
Which in and of itself is solid evidence to the contrary!
Snowe, Collins = QUISLINGS
MAINE TEA PARTY ANYONE HOME????You folks must have someone
to run there these two NEED to GO!!!!!!!!!
I understand that we are not going to get the most conservative people in the Senate in Maine. However, why can’t these two just shut up. I mean do they have to praise Obama every chance they get?
