Holder still hasn’t talked ‘Fast and Furious’ with Clinton, Napolitano, Obama
The Daily Caller ^ | 2/6/12 | Matthew Boyle

During his testimony about Operation Fast and Furious before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform last week, Attorney General Eric Holder said that he still hasn’t discussed the deadly scandal with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano or President Barack Obama.

Holder’s admission that he hasn’t taken the initiative to discuss how the government should handle this scandal came during an exchange he had with Utah Republican Rep. Jason Chaffetz.

“I had an opportunity in the Judiciary Committee to ask you questions on Dec. 8, 2011,” Chaffetz said when questioning Holder on Thursday. “I had asked you if you had spoken to President Obama, Secretary Clinton or Secretary Napolitano. You said that you had not spoken to either of those three about Fast and Furious. Is that still true today?”

Holder responded that he has not discussed the scandal with Clinton or Napolitano. As for Obama, Holder said he hasn’t had any substantive discussions about the scandal. “I’ve had passing conversations with the president just about the facts of my testifying in connection of Fast and Furious,” Holder said.

It has been more than one year since weapons Holder’s Department of Justice provided to the Mexican drug cartels were used to murder Border Patrol agent Brian Terry

Holder went on to say that he thinks the reason people in the Department of State, Department of Homeland Security and other parts of government haven’t talked to him about Fast and Furious is the high level of publicity that hearings such as Thursday’s have received. To hear holder tell it, he hasn’t even heard the truth about Fast and Furious his own self yet. He’s an innocent victim of HIS subordinates.
And we believe him /s....ping.

“.........Eric Holder said that he still hasn’t discussed the deadly scandal with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano or President Barack Obama.”

I read several months ago that Hillary “distanced herself” from the matter. Regardless IMO this whole thing STINKS from the git-go of a Hillary type of Rube Goldberg snafu. I wouldn’t put it past her to have dreamed up this effort to push gun control. It’s just her style.

.

Probably the only people who he's talking to are his taxpayer-paid personal lawyers and P.R. people.

Lanny Davis, David Axelrod and Bill Bennett......call your office.

That's likely another lie. You can almost bet that everything has been discussed and a strategy mapped at all upper levels of the democrat party.

They don't do anything individually!

This is what a murderous gangster govt looks like.

If we can’t stop it here, it will be unstoppable.

Insurance against a walk in Fort Marcy Park? Holder hopes his master will continue to protect him if he just keeps the gang out of it. [E-mails we will never see]
Holder seems so clear that this scandal should never touch that particular triad when that triad is exactly what this scandal is about.
If we are to believe Holder “unilaterally” decided to use international criminal behavior to advance Barack’s agenda and these Departments were not informed, then why didn’t their people discover the criminal activity and expose Holder?

Obamah to George Stephonpolos:

"George, I'm glad you asked me about Fast & Furious. I've met several times with both Eric Holder and Janet Nepolotano and we think we can still press for stricter gun-control laws that can prevent this type of tragedy. ...see ya Wednesday for movie night."

Eric feels that in order to maintain credibility as the Attorney General he shouldn't know anything about ongoing investigations and it just so happens that the only thing the DOJ does is ongoing investigations.

He really resents the House committee telling him about ongoing investigations at the DOJ. It just ruins his ability to impartially run the department.

An honest AG would be outraged that this happened in his department. An honest President would sweep the incompetents out and demand some answers. An honest legislator would demand answers for their constituents.

So far all I’ve gotten from my Senator’s and Rep’s offices are laughter and comments like “the Republicans are on a witch hunt”.

I ask you, is that the tactic of honest servants of the People? Where is the OUTRAGE?
