KINGSTON, Ontario – A jury on Sunday found an Afghan father, his wife and their son guilty of killing three teenage sisters and a co-wife in what the judge described as "cold-blooded, shameful murders" resulting from a "twisted concept of honor."
The jury took 15 hours to find Mohammad Shafia, 58; his wife Tooba Yahya, 42; and their son Hamed, 21, each guilty of four counts of first-degree murder in a case that shocked and riveted Canadians from coast to coast.

What went on in this 9 year old's case was she had grown up to be somebody's mother, and then had a son who achieved note in Arab ranks, but he wasn't sufficiently noble.
So what they did was turn her into Mohammad's "wife".
She was never married to Mohammad.
The reason Moslems were required to believe this story was quite simple ~ if you were in the higher ranks and denied the truth of the story (like you might if you were a close relative of the woman) they'd kill you!
Most people in those days wre totally illiterate and there was no "opposition" press. This was among the easiest of stories to get accepted, but it's just a story. TOTAL ARABIAN BS!@
I wish they would just kill themselves when they feel their honor is damaged. I think Muhammed said to stick your own head in a tree shredder if the sun rises, or something like that.
True, but that effect is not new... it's the reason I stopped having a TV in the house in 1975, nearly 40 years ago. Haven't missed much of real lasting value, and now anything I want can be found on the internet without dealing with the noise.

Still, he said the deduction arose hundreds of years ago. Once Mohammad was dead the Arabs were free to misuse him however they wished, and they did so. Same with women ~ there's no respect shown to women in any of their earliest writings. They're just markers on a board.
The defense attorney who conjured the “accident” defense should also be sanctioned for stepping outside the bounds of the evidence and for gross incompetence.

First-degree murder in Canada means a mandatory life sentence, with no chance of parole for 25 years. Sentences are served concurrently rather than consecutively, unfortunately - but as multiple murderers, the probability of them actually getting parole in 2037 is likely nil.

Allowing Muslims to ply their trade is dangerous and immoral. Such hateful crimes as this should not be called "honor killings" by the news media. Any more than killing of one group of people by another should be called "ethnic cleansing". Both phrases are sickening propaganda.

There was an FR thread on this not long ago...iirc, the son drove the family sedan and pushed the SUV with the girls and the woman in it, into a canal. The resulting damage to the sedan left evidence at the site of the crime.
