It is getting interesting.

Word on the ground and on the airwaves is that Newt’s crowds are dwarfing everybody’s. It has also been noted at FR.

However, Mitt seems to have a slight silent majority, according to most polls. It appears that this will be the first Primary state where, both because of its size and its diversity, turnout will genuinely make a difference. Can we get every panhandle vote? Can we convince enough Santorum backers in Florida to follow their candidate’s example and give up on just Florida, if not on the campaign as a whole, and join forces to beat Romney in the Sunshine State?

Newt needs to close hard, maximize turnout, and finish strong. We need to help anyway we can!

Turnout is CRUCIAL in Florida. Remember, a lot of people had already voted by mail before Gingrich became a factor.

I know Santorum verbally is not giving up on FL, but by leaving FL, he is. Let’s hope the Santorum supporters realize that stopping Mitt is crucial and that they will vote Gingrich, rather than voting ineffectively for Santorum. Probably won’t happen, but one can always hope and pray. Also, the Dems keep saying the Tea Party is on the decline or dead ..... the FL TP needs to shove that meme back in the Dems/GOP-e’s faces and get the vote out for Newt.

What Mitt has is more than a silent majority - he has a GOP establishment machine behind him. All the more reason I pray Newt neuters Willard in FL!

And why are they silent? Dumb as@es know they made a mistake and are embarrassed to admit they already voted on ballots.

Rick Santorum is "tired and broke" and has gone home to Pennsylvania to "do his taxes".

Rick knows, and every Florida Santorum supporter should know that Rick has no chance of WINNING the 50 winner-take-ALL delegates Tuesday in Florida. But he will be the spoiler if his FL supporters hang on, and that throws ALL 50 delegates to the liberal ROMNEY.

Rick's advisers are guarding his campaign checkbook, trying to keep a skeleton campaign alive in case Gingrich or Romney implode in later states.

So Santorum Floridians, please take the hint and do NOT toss your 50 delegates to ROMNEY!

MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT TOWARD DELEGATES to the most viable conservative!

I don’t have the extra $75 cash, but am chargin it so that I can go to dinner tonight where Newt will be speaking. Only thing that bugs me is the check is being written out to the RNC of Florida. Newt only gets the money if he wins the primary. He is the only one speaking at the event. Been volunteering for Newt and they invited me.
Gotta tell you all this. In Orange County Newt’s signs are being stolen, removed, etc. They are currently short of signs because of this.
