I know Santorum verbally is not giving up on FL, but by leaving FL, he is. Let’s hope the Santorum supporters realize that stopping Mitt is crucial and that they will vote Gingrich, rather than voting ineffectively for Santorum. Probably won’t happen, but one can always hope and pray. Also, the Dems keep saying the Tea Party is on the decline or dead ..... the FL TP needs to shove that meme back in the Dems/GOP-e’s faces and get the vote out for Newt.

“I know Santorum verbally is not giving up on FL, but by leaving FL, he is.”

This is exactly the case, Miss Magnolia. Newt is quietly rising the Tea Party and grassroots conservatives. Romney’s negative carpetbombing and over the top use of mailers is viewed by the public of a rich, arrogant guy trying to buy the election. Romney has spent a ridiculous amount of money here and it is so blatant that it draws attention to his own weakness. This is so transparent.

When you look at Newt’s campaign stops coming up the next 2 days you see that he is going after the real grassroots conservatives. Rick Santorum’s decision to stand down and leave is a way for him to quietly concede while maintaining his dignity. It’s all there. Early voting ends today. From here on, it’s the weekend to Tuesday to bring out the vote. The polls will show the race tightening by Monday. Look for it! Newt is taking the ground game, and with Rick no longer distracting the conservatives, Newt’s numbers will climb.
