I’m not a fan of these designer breeds, but from what I’ve seen the Labradoodle, it is the best one.

In any case a dog is a dog, and this one was a gooood dog.

No, most of today’s mini dogs are surrogate children or living toys. The minimuts are not dogs.

Labs and standard poodles are both great dogs, so hopefully labradoodles combines the best traits of both.

Apparently the labradoodle knew where to go to RETRIEVE help!

And he apparently looked very stylish doing it.

Does that combine the best traits of both breeds?

Lost my Lab last year - one of the greatest dogs EVER! Loving loyal friendly sweet - rarely left a foot unslept upon - could always be counted upon to be laying down on THAT job - wonderful retriever. :)

[his faithful dog who led him to safety before running to a nearby pub and barking until he raised the alarm.]

Wonderful story, whatta dog!! I’m always amazed at how dogs know how to ‘go get someone to help’!

That’s what happens when you buy them the entire Lassie show collection on DVD.

LOL, that must explain it.....
My Yorkie doesn’t even look at the TV and I KNOW he couldn’t drag me to safety!

One has to wonder why the dog chose the pub. Perhaps he was most familiar with it. ;)

Quite likely. From the pub's web site:

Dog friendly in the bar area, we serve food throughout the pub, from the dining room to the easy chairs by the open fireplace and outside on the patio, the orchard and to the benches by the hedge.

My Chow would just wait until I died and start eating the Corpse.

She would go home after the bones were picked dry and beg my Wife for a Pupperoni.

Lol, there was a story about that happening to a man a few months ago. I’m not overly fond of Chows but I may have ‘known’ the wrong ones. We all love our pets.
