“An increasing number of intruders in St. Louis are being gunned down by homeowners, due in part to a 2007 self-defense law known as the castle doctrine. But now, authorities are changing how they review apparent justifiable homicide cases.”

Or rather, “An increasing number of Negro intruders in St. Louis are (sic.) being gunned down by white homeowners, due in part to a 2007 self-defense law known as the castle doctrine. But now, Negro authorities are changing how they review apparent justifiable homicide cases to protect Negro criminals and allow harassment of white victims.”

Nothing racist here, by gum.

What’s to review?

7 isn’t a huge crisis.

Unless the dead person was known to the homeowners in some fashion, there is nothing to review.

This law adversely impacts Eric Holder's people, so it is obviously a racist law.

Criminals shouldn't have to fear for their lives while pursuing their chosen trade.

“apparent justifiable homicide”???

You break in, you get blasted. You shouldn’t need a special law to give you permission.

Our county DA in Topeka, KS has been very good about not even giving it a second thought. Too many home invasions to second guess people.

this must be affecting to voter rolls of the Democrat party in some way. Perhaps St. Louis Democrats need to work on developing a better Chicago-style graveyard constituency and then this won’t be a problem.

Well now, that last example in the article, where “somebody” recounted clear murder of an intruder who had submitted and was standing against the wall, unarmed, is a bit of a stretch.
Ya, I know he broke in, but he was no longer a threat and could have been held for police.
This is different than shooting while he’s in the act of breaking in.

the law was put in place to prevent EXACTLY this type of game.

Home invasion is a felony and that does not stop criminals.

They have to get tough with people who actually defend their rights.

Can’t allow too much of THAT in America.

In the past,
police detectives and homicide unit supervisors who thought a killing was justified would contact the circuit attorney’s office to make sure prosecutors agreed.

Now,
every case will be scrutinized in a more formal review by the St. Louis circuit attorney’s office.

Doesn’t sound like much of a change.

St. Louis city has a long and poor record on the 2nd Amendment. The rats in charge will do what they can to discourage self defense - including making an example out of a crime victim who shot a perp if they can get away with it.

Under the old law, homeowners confronted by intruders had a duty to escape their homes if they could do so safely.

Silly, really.

It's not as though one has time to conduct a thorough study of the situation.

How many home owners were lost under that doctrine?

St. Louis homeowners gunning down Holder’s “peeples” breaking into homes is the right thing to do to make a polite society. Seven is not enough.

As long as they take the exact same approach for POLICE INVOLVED SHOOTINGS. Arrest Every Cop that ever fires his Gun and force them to defend themselves, JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE, Then I would agree with this idea.
