Gingrich is positively Churchillian now; he’s been thru the fire and has found himself alive on the other side with something left to give to his country to redeem himself and save the nation.

God has often chosen imperfect vessels to express His will, and has granted them an annointing that burns with exceeding fire.

John McCain didn’t inspire anybody unless you call inspiring 6,000,000 Republicans to stay home inspirational; Newt Gingrich clearly does not have that problem. Works for me just fine.

That is such a wonderful statement, that I couldn't help pasting it into a second post. Incredibly inspiring prose!

Hey, Newt Gingrich said it, not me. If you have a problem with it, take it up with Newt. Or you could remain in this if you prefer:

I'd prefer Palin, but she's not running.

I am heartened by Newt's remarks that he wants Palin to have a place in his administration.

Loved Newt's smackdown of the CNN moderator during the debate tonight...

Cheers!

I'm for Newt!

But I will support any Republican. I don't want to see everyone Obama’s thrown under the bus come crawling out if O wins in November. Because that's what will happen. Obama has nothing to lose if he wins another term and will destroy this country. As I said in another post — if we get 4 more years of Obama, a Dem house and Senate, a conservative passes away on the SC— who do we get SC justice Bill Ayers? No more Obama and his agenda with no campaign to worry about!!!

I’m very much thinking of helping Newt in his general election campaign...and I’ve NEVER even remotely thought of doing that for any candidate, barring Fred Thompson.

I wasn’t old enough in Reagan’s days to even think about it...but at least now I have something worth fighting for. And as you very well know, Jim, we live in a very liberal state...in which the win is unlikely...but it’s worth my time to fight for conservatism! Don’t you agree???? : )

I think it is a safe bet that where you lead on the question of the GOP ticket most of us will follow. At various times during this three-ring circus of a nomination campaign in which our worst enemies in the party and in the lame stream media have tried to choose the Mittwit as Obama's punching bag in November, I have favored Sarah Palin until she pulled out, Michele Bachmann until she pulled out, Rick Perry until he collapsed, Rick Santorum (a sentimental and ideological favorite) who is now sagging again. Gingrich is now the man. If there is any way to get Rush, Hannity and Levin behind him, FR and their programs could be a decisive organizing vehicle to stop Romney. God bless you and all that you do and have done. God bless this wonderful website and all who post here. Let us translate our ideals into reality and start with a victory in South Carolina on Saturday. Gingrich/Palin 2012. Nominate them, take it to Obama and drive him into oblivion!

From Goldwater's Karl Hess written acceptance speech (I don't like Goldwater but Hess was a great writer: "I will fight and I know you will too until our cause has one day inspired the world and led the way to a tomorrow worthy of all our yesterdays."

And from Peter, Paul and Mary's Sweet Survivor: "For all the things that matter carry on!" I would reject their idea of what mattered but the song is a great and nostalgic blend of retrospective tribute to one's fellow veteran activists and a call to arms for one last fight, to choose and activate successors, to pick them up, to recharge their batteries and get them stripped for battle.

Again, may God bless you for everything you do and for every quality of who you are.
