The Democrats are chomping at the bit to reclaim Florida’s 22nd Congressional District seat, snatched from them in 2010 by Allen West, R-Plantation. Although they need someone with the mental agility to match West’s talent for thinking on his feet, they also want someone free of corruption and controversy.
For example, they don’t need another Congressman Alcee Hastings, D-Miramar. While serving as a federal judge, a Hastings go-between accepted $25,000 as a down payment to a $150,000 bribe in exchange for a favorable ruling.
Former West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel claims to have the moxie to confront West. Unlike Hastings, Frankel has never been impeached, was never found guilty of perjury and was never convicted by the U.S. Senate of conspiracy to accept a bribe. But that doesn’t Make her lily-white. Frankel’s ethics appear to originate from the same primordial swamp as Hastings’.

That woman is a pig. She will NEVER beat Allen West. She is the nastiest person and so self absorbed. After that grand jury report came out we were all wondering how is it that she isn’t in jail? That’s where she belongs - not congress.
How did she not end up a player in the Atlanta debacle? Oh; I know, the competition was too much for her.
If she thinks she has a chance of beating Allen West, the woman is certifiably insane and should be put away for her own safety and those around her.
Lois Frankel is a disgusting example of today's democrats. She's the last thing we need.
I can’t think of a better race to watch than West and Frankel! My only regret is that she is a woman and will use that gender card to her full advantage. She already has. And stupid people are already falling for it, sadly.

Lois Frankel won election in West Palm by being very liberal, Jewish (pandering to Century Village) and whining like a victim.She is terrible.
