LABOUR was engulfed in a race row yesterday after frontbencher Diane Abbott made a sneering quip about white people.The veteran Left-winger, who was Britain’s first black woman MP, wrote on the internet chat website Twitter: “White people love playing ‘divide & rule’. We should not play their game.” She made a grovelling public apology after receiving a furious dressing down from Ed Miliband.

Well, the people at the tippity top (who are usually white) do love to divide and conquer. That said, the generalization isn’t true and she’s pretty dense to tweet it. I think it’s hyper-sensitive for people over there to be calling for her head. Maybe someone in Labour could take her to the side and tell her that her Twitter privileges are on strike two?

She would, but in the UK over 90% of the population is white, so politicians can’t rely on the black vote.
Ignoring this brief insight into her real thoughts, she’s always been a huge hypocrit. Not very long ago she mercilessly attacked a fellow female Labour MP for sending her kids to a private, rather than state school but when Ms Abbott had kids, she sent them straight to an expensive fee-paying school. . . . .

The non-white population of London is high, about 31%, but that is one city and about the same proportions as the entire population of the US. Across the entire UK population 85.67% is ‘white British’ plus another 5.27% ‘other white’ and 1.2% ‘white Irish’, so well over 90%. The next biggest ethnic group is Indian at 1.8% and Pakistani at 1.6%.
The UK is far less multicultural than the US, a common misconception amongst my American friends.
In America the multiculturalism is pretty much even spread, whereas in the UK the non native islanders just colonise whole cities like London, Bradford and Birmingham just to name a few.
