America's Crossroads - Big Government or Almighty God

Today many in the United States are crying out to President Obama and Government to do more and more to fix our social ills. The notion that Big Government has all of the answers and solutions we need in this very chaotic and unstable world is a fairy tale. It is one that is rooted in the mistaken belief that Fallen Man through and by the efforts of Big Government or Socialism can bring security and comfort to its citizens or constituents. There is no man-made ideology or system that can ever usher in a world Utopia of perfection and bliss. These ideologies are delusional though full of good intentions. The truth is that man apart from Almighty God and His righteousness - no matter how sincere he is - can only bring upon himself the consequences of his own evil doings.

While Conservative values (WHICH ARE BASED ON NATURAL LAWS AND MORAL ABSOLUTES) are tried and true and are thus the best ideology for a profitable existence in time, these are no replacement for possessing a saving relationship with God's Messiah (Christ), which is absolutely essential for Almighty God's Eternal and Holy (Perfect) Heaven. The Conservative and Liberal ideologies of the day can never provide the eternal RIGHTEOUSNESS and heavenly necessities demanded by Almighty God and found only in the person of Almighty God's Son, Jesus Christ (see Romans 10:4). What is insane about our day is that countless Americans are choosing Obama's Socialism over the Almighty God and TRUE liberty.

But the wicked (unsaved humanity) are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked (Isaiah 57:20).

This Social Gospel of man is in direct opposition to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ:

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures(1 Corinthians 15:1-4). . One must CHOSE whom they will trust, i.e., Big Government or Almighty God. Jesus said:

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). . To obtain true righteousness and peace one must know the Prince of Peace, The Lord Jesus Christ. Only through Christ can this possibility become a reality:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Galatians 5:22).

Do you know the Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ, as your Savior?

And there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else (Isaiah 45:21b-22).

But as many as received him (Jesus Christ), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12).

In these turbulent days of uncertainty and unrest, may you abandon man's social gospel and put your faith - your total trust - in God's true Gospel that contains and consists of the wonderful Person of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ!

The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand!

We conservatives must take back the inherent rights, freedoms and liberties that God gives and men steal away through corrupt government or the streets of a poverty stricken America will be running with the shed blood of those who call Jesus Christ Lord and Saviour, as in other communist/socialist countries. The Lord Jesus Christ is God the Son and after the 7 year tribulation will take His throne in Israel for a 1000 year millenial rule that will ruin the wicked of the earth and promote the rightious and holy ways of God.

From what I have seen and heard, most the people who now populate the United States, will choose big government. As long as big government makes then feel secure.

Unfortunately we are being exploited by the Government and industry to survive. I don’t think that’s what Jesus was really had in mind.

I remember when candidate Pat Buchanan was express and emphatic that we were involved a desperate culture war. I remember the GOP nomenklatura reviling him for pointing out this obvious and essential truth. They were - then as now - deceivers and adversaries. The Fifth Column. The hole in our bucket. The pied piper for conservative naifs. The nice man in the van offering candy and a ride.

We have only lost ground since then, in a war which remains uncontested - because we continue to heed the GOP nomenklatura and its ward heelers and minions.

We must win the culture before we can win the elections. It does not work the other way around.
