Is that picture of the painting “before” or “after” the damage?
If “before”, then I claim her intervention may have actually improved upon the “artist’s” original work.

That painting is worth $30 million?
Clearly I'm in the wrong line of work.

She may have some issues but anyone who would pay more than fifty bucks for that is a real loop-de-loop.
Might make a nice pattern for a Naugahyde couch though.

I have to admit, that is an extraordinarily beautiful tax dedu, er, work of art.
To: DemforBush
I like the painting. I’d prefer a Rothko, or Mondrian, or Hockney, but it’s good.
Anyone who claims they could do it should give it a try. Keep in mind you need to be the first, and not just copy someone else’s ideas.
I could write Shakespeare, but only because he did it first.
Oh, and there’s no difference between a $50 wine and a $5 wine, since I don’t like wine.

It appears to be a painting that was meant to be defaced. Not that I approve of what this nutjob did, but I don’t know how you could tell if someone had defaced this awful piece of dreck.
To: DemforBush
If one owns a 30 million dollar painting one has it insured. IMHO the frame is worth more than the painting. Maybe the owner paid to have it defaced and will later split the payout with her. What’s that? There is no frame? I stand by my statement.
