Any true conservative worth his salt would decline such an offer.

I would be more favorably inclined to him if he picked either of those three than I am now. I will vote for anyone but Obama, so I know some other freepers disagree with that and I respect their opinion on that.

But I like, in order, of those three:
DeMint Rubio Ryan.

If he stays mired at 25% or so through say Florida, maybe he will. I just don’t see him getting much above that regardless.

I suggest someone who could step in and fill Mitt’s shoes should something happen to him.

Snowe, Collins, Specter, Chaffee, Dole, McCain, etc

If you stuck a gun to my head to force me to vote for Mitt Romney I’d tell you to just pull the trigger. Wouldn’t matter what schmuck was unprincipled enough to be on a ticket with him.

If you start with a turd in the punchbowl, there isn’t any alcohol or fruit juice you can add that overcomes the smell of turd...

In the end, you have to sanitize the punchbowl and start over.

Third party will rise, if Willard is chosen.

I'm not 100% sure it would change my vote, but if Mittenz were to commit ritual seppuku on the White House lawn this Thursday, I would raise my opinion of him.

At least, it's worth a try.

Willard will nominate himself as VP. He’ll just flip-flop between the roles.

He could name Sarah Palin and I still won’t vote for Romney.

NO ROMNEY.

To: Eccl 10:2; All
They pulled this same crap on us in '08 when Juan McStain picked Sarah Palin to be his running mate, everyone swooned and held their nose to vote for the GOP ticket because we justified ourselves by saying "well, we have a good principled conservative on the ticket" but if perchance the GOP had won last time around, Vice President Sarah Palin would be presiding over the Senate in the event of tie votes and going to foreign funerals while McLame did basically the same things we've been seeing 0bama do over the past 4 years, that Arizona RINO-turd would be 'reaching across the aisle' 24/7 while screwing conservatives at every opportunity, Sarah Palin's influence be damned. And 'President McCain' (gag, choke, puke) would have the cover of a great big (R) after his name, so he would get away with even MORE crap than 0bama.

No, if Romney somehow manages to win the nomination, he could unveil a secret clone of Ronald Reagan from '68 as his running mate and I still would not vote for that presumptuous liberal POS from Massachusetts, the state that gave us Teddy Kennedy, Michael Dukakis and now: Mitt-Witt Romney.

NO THANK YOU

No to Obama
No to Romney
No to Paul

It is pretty simple, that leaves many other options now.
