Here’s the national poll from Gallup confirming everything you thought you knew about the race. Most of Cain’s support did indeed go to Newt, and Newt continues to crush Romney among tea partiers and seniors. Intriguing data, but not nearly as important as state polls in Iowa and New Hampshire for the simple reason that national polls will move dramatically after those states vote.

“Slick Willard stuck again in 20s”

Yeah, I think Mitt, the msm and the RINOS are getting very nervous about Newt being in the lead. It has upset their plans. They have shifted into overdrive on their attacks against Newt.

Milt is so desperate that he’s going on FNS with Motorboat Wallace this Sunday. We’ll see if Wallace gives him the kid gloves treatment he usually reserves for rats or if he’ll really go after him.

“Gingrich Does Better Among Conservative Republicans and Tea Party Supporters”

“Gingrich’s lead is especially large among conservative Republicans and those who describe themselves as supporters of the Tea Party movement, with more than twice the level of support of any other candidate. Romney ties Gingrich among Republicans who are not Tea Party supporters, and the race is close among moderate/liberal Republicans.”

Gingrich tea party supporter: 47%

Romney tea party supporter: 17%

Gingrich tea party nonsupporter: 27%

Romney tea party nonsupporter: 28%

Gingrich conservative Republicans: 41%

Romney conservative Republicans: 20%

Gingrich moderate/liberal: 28%

Romney moderate/liberal: 26%

Gingrich moderate/liberal: 28%

Romney moderate/liberal: 26%

So much for the idea that only Romney can win the general because he pulls in moderates & liberals. LOL!
Newt even beats Romney at that!

I just can’t get that stupid global warming commercial out of my head with Nancy Pelosi... if your willing to throw in with the her... I just can’t support him, I just can’t do it! I believe Global warming will go down in history as the biggest fraud ever. If Newt couldn’t see that one coming...

I don’t support Newt, but I’m not going to go out of my way to try to destroy him.

I agree with Donald trump on the subject of Mr. Worm, er I mean Rover.

Perhaps it’s time that he and Fox News both be ostracized by all so that they are under no illusion where they stand...

What people have to remember is we are a center-right country. As much as you might like a Bachmann or Perry because you think they are very conservative, that won’t work best in the general election. The conservative who can also get moderate support is who you want. Newt knows this and that’s why he’ll throw in a more moderate idea that annoys the conservatives once in a while because he understands it’s about defeating Obama. Bachman, Perry, Santorum too conservative. Paul and Huntsman too moderate. Romney more moderate than Newt. You’re left with Newt who is best positioned based on ideaology of the country. The polls reflect this and I think people are willing to cut Newt some slack because they’re most interested in what you will do now and not what you might have said 20 years ago to solve the problems. You also have to remember, in order to get anything done in Washington, there has to be some degree of compromise with the Democrats to get anything done. Add the fact that Newt will crush Obama in a debate and is fearless and able to make the case why Obama is so wrong and Newt is the most electible, whether you like him or not. He will educate the independents and in the process get our country going the right direction again.

Mitt is a RINO. That make him a greater threat to this country than Obama. At least the pubbies will line up to fight Zero's policies if he gets reelected. Rino-boy Romney would have a fourth of the Republicans and all of the democrats pushing his Socialism-Lite agenda towards a Massachusetts type of government.

Rush is right when he said that we need to start asking why we let the liberal media control the Republican primary debates. All conservative should decline the invitation and attend a debate moderated by Rush or by Neal Boortz. Let the Republicans address issues that are important to conservatives instead of issues that are important the the Obama reelection team.
