Court records refer to him simply, as Victim One. Outside of a four-and-a-half page section about him in the grand jury indictment of ex-Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, little else has been discussed about him publicly.
Last week, his mother (whom I will refer to as "Mother One") removed him from Central Mountain High School in Mill Hall, Pa., where he was a senior and an all-star athlete. In an interview conducted last week, she explained why she pulled him from the school.
"They were not helpful," Mother One said of the school's administrators. "They wanted me to go home and forget about it."
Mother One also alleges that since the Sandusky scandal erupted, fellow students and the high school's football coach (who also serves as assistant principal) have all targeted her son with verbal attacks and threats of violence.
She also claims that the school's principal tried to convince her and her son not to report their allegations against Sandusky to the police, and that as recently as this month, refused to treat threats of violence against her son by other students as credible.
Central Mountain High's principal, Karen Probst, and its football coach, Steve Turchetta, did not return phone calls seeking comment about Mother One's complaints.

I got permission from JR to post this article since it is non political and further exposes that the scandal is much larger than even I had thought!
Long story short, Ryan Buell (journalist) interviewed Victim 1's mom and she tells a horrible story about how the school bullied her and her child because they didn't want Victim 1 to report the rape to the police!
Sandusky is pure evil...
Truly, a heartbreaking article. Sandusky should face a gruesome fate for his crimes...
Well if this is all true the Principal, the Football Coach and the idiotic School Counsuler should be thrown into prison.

Wouldn’t that be obstruction of justice? Intimidating a witness in a criminal case? Once they had knowledge of the rape, weren’t they legally required to report it?
When these immoral moles raise their heads, they need to be whacked quickly.
Puffington Host must be terribly torn. “Gay is good, even for boys” if you listen to them — but this clearly ain’t. Sandusky is one chicken hawk that they disapprove of. (How did the boy get into Second Mile anyhow — what was the risk he was at? It would seem specially pernicious to prey upon a troubled child, let alone a normal one.)

Mark my words this is just the VERY tip of the iceberg I can't imagine what will happen. I don't want to be overestimating but there could be 100s of victims if this creep was able to take boys out of class at will!!!

It sounds to me like “Victim One” is not likely to be called to the witness stand by the prosecution. His credibility has just been shot to hell. That family might have some issues. Everybody is against them and bullying them, etc.
I was wondering how an entire school could know the identity of “Victim 1”. This article makes it sound as if the administrators are probably responsible for this.

Things get around. A grand jury hearing is not hermetically sealed. THIS IS A BIG THING. As big for Pennsylvania as the Clinton thing was for the country.
That's an idiotic question. The eyewitness accounts about Sandusky are overwhelming. The guy is clearly a predatory homosexual pedophile as charged. So why would anybody "believe" him? And as far as the principle (sic), what do you think he's lying about?
Well then who are you referring to when you say their creditability has been shot to hell?
I am not buying the mother’s story. Obviously, I don’t know any more than you do, but something about her story doesn’t smell right - - it’s a little over the top. I’ll wait until the principal and coach offer their side of the story.
In any event, the mother may have inadvertantly damaged her son’s credibility. You better believe Sandusky’s defense is looking for any conceivable way to paint “Victim One” as coming from an unstable family prone to making stuff up. The truth doesn’t matter in court - - it’s all about what a jury can be manipulated into believing. Remember too, all the defense needs to show is “reasonable doubt”.

There was a sex scandal in my town several years ago involving older football players and the younger members of the team. The school went out of the way to protect the older players, allowing them to stay in school for several weeks after the scandal broke. The school and the school board was all about protecting the principal and the coaches.
So I’m siding with the mother on this one.

How many enablers? How many covered up for Sandusky? How many were involved in the pedophilia ring? And keep in mind - there is a huge push to legalize pedophilia. Those who rape children need to be executed. And those who cover up for one - prison, but the kind where they have to work for their keep. In the hot sun.

It's a sports cult, which is really not much different than a religious cult. Some people simply take an interest in spectator sports, with others it consumes them. I never understood how some people go full-blown retard over some sports team.
Psychologists need to classify it as a form of mental illness. Parents going over the deep end with their kids' involvement in little league and cheerleading. Soccer hooligans in Europe.
Milder versions of the phenomena are seen when people make some team a central part of their lives and do stupid stuff like buy vehicles or paint their homes in colors of their favorite team.
It's usually quite harmless, but it can however become dangerous, like when fans riot in the streets. In the case of these Penn State morons, the mental illness manifests with the sports cultists rallying around pedophiles and CRIMINALS.
