Hosted by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, the theme of tonight's Republican presidential debate is foreign policy and national security.
The debate is being held at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.

Well its a rainy night in Georgia so I’ll ccok up some Tallapia and clams and watch the debate.
I hope Wolfie has some good, entertaining retorts for responding to Newt’s pilloryings of the MSM/host(s).
Maybe Ron Paul, who is a frontrunner in Iowa and New Hampshire, will get more than 90 seconds.

Dang!! CNN????
I’d rather all of these were a Newt style debate.
It will be interesting to see what Blitzer pulls out of his bag of tricks tonight. To be honest, I thought his last M.C. job was perhaps the best of the M.C.’d debates so far.
It was head and shoulders above the other gotcha efforts by the various leftist media outlets.
Thanks very much for the LIVE thread, kristinn!!
DJ MacWoW - no TV but online I’m pretty sure?
later
I’m eating cookies - I guess that’s bad. I’ll add drinking wine - there, that’s better.
I’ll pass. They can lie to me in print. lol
This could be a tuff one for Cain.
***foreign policy and national security***
They should recommend the use of George Costanza’s philosophy; ‘the opposite’ of whatever BO has been doing.

Yea! Dey you iz...
Mitt will be all ‘Won’t ANYBODY, someone save us from these terrible peasants?!’, Newt will jack Perry’s State Rights, 10th Amendment once again, and goose Cain out of a couple blunders, Ron Paul will get 110db applause as the now recognized leader of OX, Bachmann will rightly be disgusted to be in this den again, Perry will detail Obama’s head on a pike (and mean it and be capabale of delivering it, Huntsman will try to pick up Romney’s slack, and Santorum will align with Bachmann.

Hilarious!
It’s listed to be on CNN. I think it will also be on the Heritage Foundation site.
OH NO!
This one has the potential of being more serious.
Very early for sure, but I’ll be back!
Oops... I guess I should have read the orig post. LOL
A nice link for you!
“Ill cook up some Tallapia...”
Stay away from that Talapia, “1, it’s a crap fish, #2 you may glow in the dark after eating it.
Well said! Hardly now need to watch. Wonder if “the wolf” will be up for Newt’s attack on the media tonight and try to take him on a bit? With Newt’s intellect, he can pull it off w/o sounding like the occasional whiner.

Thanks for posting it, kristinn!
Rats - still a little too eaerly for wine out here on the Left Coast.

RUSH: Folks, I have to tell you something. We got another Republican debate tonight. It’s sponsored by the Heritage Foundation.
It’s gonna be moderated by Wolf Blitzer, CNN. It’s gonna be broadcast by CNN. It’s a Heritage Foundation debate on foreign policy. And from what I’m told, old Wolf is out there preparing a response to Newt Gingrich if Newt chides him for the way he’s conducting things as the moderator.
You know, Newt’s been going after the media in these debates, and media’s been sort of flat-footed at the time of the attack, and they wait ‘til later that night or the next day to formulate their response.
Wolf is prepping. Wolf is rehearsing. From what I’m being told, Wolf Blitzer is rehearsing various retorts to Newt Gingrich, and he and his staff are trying to think of various things that Newt might say to insult them. It’s sort of like preparing for hecklers.
That’s what Wolf is doing to get ready for the — (interruption) No, I don’t know why they can’t find some conservative to moderate one of these debates. That’s one of these rhetorical questions that doesn’t have an answer, but if you’re gonna have CNN broadcast it why do you expect to have a conservative moderating it?
It seems to be a misplaced expectation. Anyway, as I’m watching all this, I keep asking rhetorical questions here, but I still want to ask them. When will the media do an anal exam of Obama?

Doctors (even CNN ones I bet) say wine is healthy so start drinking now and after a couple bottles you should feel healthier.
FLIP SLICK WILLARD RINO ROMNEY is almost hysterical in his daily rant against the commie in chief.
Too bad for poor WILLARD that he might as well be debating a mirror.
Opportunist phony coward degenerate sons of polygamist military service avoiding snake oil salesmen bitches from a family of phony coward degenerate sons of polygamist military service avoiding snake oil salesmen bitches like Romney need to be destroyed.
The GOP risks annihilation as long as he is in the mix.
This must be the last election cycle he is allowed to pollute.
Now WHERE would be the fun in that....for the great unwashed....!!
Dang, I LOVE this gal...could listen to her all day long.
Ann Barnhardt from my native Colorado.
Lots of YouTubes available.
BTTT!
Thank you, STAR!
There would not be any significant consequences for Blitzer, so he doesnt care. Newt would be seen as a head on his wall.

Wine makes me sick. Isn’t that awful?
I don’t have a telly — is there a link to where it will be streamed?
LOL!
CNN.com I read up-thread...
This must be the last election cycle he is allowed to pollute.
Where else on earth does a man just run for potus, spend 130 million each time doing it, do nothing in between, just rest up for the next election!?!
It’s cost him half a billion to loll about? How much money does he think the Presidency will net him?
We should rebuild the grassroots conservative movement. From the Reagan Revolution of 1980 through the Contract with America in 1994, it was this movement from outside Washington that carried us to the first center-right majority governing coalition in more than 60 years. The problem has not been with conservatism or with our voters.
The problem has been with Republican leaders who forgot who elected them and what values their supporters expected to see implemented in Washington.
Newt Gingrich, 11-13-2006
‘Rush’ said....”from what Im told, old Wolf is out there preparing a response to Newt Gingrich if Newt chides him for the way hes conducting things as the moderator.”
Well that’s interesting as newt has , as Rush said, “caught them rather flat-footed”. So this should be interesting...maybe Newt’s got wind of this and just won’t give Wolf anything to respond to.
It should be kinda interesting but I still hate these debates. I’d rather see candidates interviewed in relatively long sessions. You learn a lot more about them.
