So was EVERY other former member of Congress and the Executive branch who ever got to D.C. Like THIS is a shock?

it’s hard for people to understand what the h*ll he’s talking about

Have you even been watching any of the debates? He's been very articulate, especially when attacking Obama's failed policies.

"Rep. Newton Gingrich (R-GA-6) was one of those 29 RINOs - voting AYE to rubber stamp Jimmy Carter's Department of Education." There's a big government progressive inside of Newt Gingrich and unfortunately is gets out far more than it should.

I agree! Cain was lobbying a minimal amount of time as part of his job and only had a 3 year stint with the NRA.

Newt, IMO, was selling his intellectual insider information on how to work the system. He may not have approached members of Congress directly, but he was writing the script and directing the cast.

That’s why I don’t want Newt as POTUS. I think, however, he would be an excellent VP to Cain.

Just like the MSM, your titles don't match the articles. Newt opposes card check. Tell me somthing, now that Newt is climbing in the polls, how many hours a week do you spend campaigning against Newt on FR?

I watched the debates and I believe he was always a winner. I believe that those performances is why has become popular in the polls. However, with recent revelations by both Conservatives and the MSM who assassinates all the political top tier candidates, folks are taking another look at who is Newt Gingrich.

I should have clarified my statement more clearly. I was addressing his answers that he has given over the last four days to his “consulting” work with Fannie and other corporations such as GE and the Pharma and Health Care industries.

Newt... candidate with “baggage”... 3 wives. Who knows how many girlfriends over the years? Got paid as a consultant for telling Freddie and Fannie they were on the wrong track (too bad his advice was ignored). But, he is a piker... did not use his high office to seduce an intern, did not get impeached for lying (I did not have sex with that woman). Admitted some dumb mistakes (i.e. adv with Pelosi). But, his original “Contract with America” was a big success. We went from a deficit to a surplus! He can win debating Obama and win the Presidential election. I’ll give him a shot for 4 years w/ his “21st Century Contract with America”. He has my vote!

Lets not forget Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broderick. And what about Hillarys friend Vince Foster? RIP. How quickly liberals forget when they are on the attack.

However, with recent revelations by both Conservatives and the MSM...

A complete non sequitur. First you claimed that nobody knows what the hell he's talking about, now you're claiming that he's winning the debates. And here you're lumping conservatives together with the MSM about 'recent' revelations that have been known for years.

Nice try, thanks for playing, now sit down and shut up.

Carter signed the Department of Education in 1979, when Newt was a mere freshman in the gop minority. He had nothing to do with it.

No doubt that will not stop you from spreading another lie about him though.

“So what” is the correct response...I agree.

Good grief the pharmaceutical companies have always been tied to Washington Politics and they do work together one way or another...like it or not.

They are huge contributors to candidates...and for the most part Republicans have been who they contribute the most to.

People seem to think that we're just going to vote and whoever gets it is going to change the corruption and way things are done in Washington overnight...it ain't going to happen. Although booting Obama and his crew is of course the no’ 1# deal.

It takes money to run for office and they all get it from their favorites...be it pharmaceutical company's...big business...banks or what have you...and when politicians leave office they are always sought after because of their political connections. It is no different in other industries as well...it's how it works.

Not enough just to have conservative values at this time in our history...This country needs someone who can plug the holes Obama’s open wide, and knows how to do that and who to get on board to accomplish that.

Three or more years ago I would say the same thing....can’t do that now...it’s not enough.
