Sadly, I think you're correct.

Why sadly? That makes no sense at all....that's what politicians do after they leave office...they are sought after by business, industry and all others who have a stake in how the congress rules on that which affects their bottom line. This isn't new nor is it something we are going to stop. You can't forbid a politician from making a living at what he knows to do. They all do it.

You’re another one who gets it’s facts from old data at best and most of it false...you need to look at more than the media’s spew and find out what the truth is before you spread the stuff out there.

Indeed... it is VERY thick. Their lies won’t work and Cain will continue to tank.

Cheers.....

I say "sadly", because Newt took taxpayer money to be a Freddie Mac "historian". What a joke. They all do it, as you said. It's business as usual. Waste the taxpayer money on "historians" while bridges crumble.

I will not give Newt a pass because "they all do it". They all stink.

I’ve been wondering about that notion, of Newt as VP to someone else. I’ve even said that if Cain wins the nomination he could use Newt as VP. BUT, I see all the assassination work and then from the same freepers comes this ‘I could accept him as VP but not as President’ line. I mean, if all the sludge spittled out about Newt were true from these assassins, why in the world would they shrug and accept such a hideous traitor as the VP? What if January 31 the elected president drops dead? The same spittlists who spent so much time try to assassinate Newt’s character are now watch him be sworn in as President! ... I guess irrational is the spittlegeist. I just decided Newt was the best choice ofr the job ahead and he has a well thought out and openly posted plan for what to do within the hour after being sworn in and which directs to head the next day, and the next, and the next ... 999 is not enough plan for what is a mountain of destructive garbage left behind by barry and the pirates!

I didn’t say which president signed it into laW. The DOE was passed in the House while Newt was there. He was instrumental in getting the House to pass it!

NOW DO YOU ALL GET IT?

wasn’t Gingrich the one who brought the Fed. Dept. of Education into being?

Yeah, just like he created Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac! ROFL Seriously, do you just make this up as you go along?

I understand...but I still say we have to get out of this place our country is sinking in...and it’s quick sand! I honestly don’t care right now where they get their money....it’s all so corrupted...and we have to start somewhere getting out of this sand. I don’t see any other candidate who can do that apart from Newt who can get in there and do it.

Read today ol’ Rauhm Emanuel actually stated he missed Sarah Palins insights compared to the other candidates....turned my stomach that they all knew she could beat Obama and why they took her out.

Newt supported Hillary Clinton's health care plan.

Are you and "Paperdoll" taking the same medication that is making you babble incoherently? Newt Gingrich led the Republican Revolution that defeated Hillary's Health Care Debacle and forced Billy Boy to utter the words, "The era of Big Government is over". Supported Hillary's plan? LOL Not so much.

Reading this thread gives me the heebie jeebies for the Republic..

I am worried about Newt, Myth, Rick and Hermie..
AND Santorum, Paul, Huntsman and even Michele Backmann(the only real conservative)<-probably....

Negrodamus just might have us cornered..
We may have become, Oscar the Grouch(the muppet)..
I know I have... but sometimes I become one of the bitchy old men(muppet)..

Oh, I see, lobbying is bad. Probably should be illegal. But wait. Our Founding Fathers thought differently. They actually included lobbying in the First Amendment. That something about our right to petition the government. Now that I think about it, I will stand with the Founders.

It isn’t up to us to forgive Newt. That is the purview of those he offended (like his ex-wives).

The point is that Newt is a liar, so it doesn’t matter what kind of conservative talking points he mouths, he doesn’t mean a word of it. If ever there was a person who craved the limelight, it is Newt. His entire campaign is about his personal quest for fame, power, wealth, and recognition. Perhaps he has an inferiority complex and needs to prove that he is somebody. As president, he would behave like every other RINO.

Most of the voting public have no clue what Newt Gingrich’s history has been. They have only seen his debate performances.

Once Conservatives and Independents learn about Newt’s history his numbers will plummet.
