Today, another gathering of (most of) the presidential hopefuls will take place in Iowa at the Thanksgiving Family Forum, sponsored by The Family Leader. It’s slated for two hours, beginning at 5 PM eastern, 4 PM local time.

That's not going to be limited to the Morman faith. Southern Baptist churches in the South refused to let blacks even enter the church unless they were cooking food or janitors. This has happened within the last 50 years.
All I can say is that I'm glad Morman church and the churches in the South changed their views.

Is it just me, or is there a noticeable absence of vitriol, ugliness and hyperbole on this thread...compared to other campaign threads?
And is there a heightened sense of civility and respect?
Maybe because Faith is the core topic?

This forum has been a Godsend for me personally, and I hope for the nation. I was realllly not happy watching the old StateRunMedia shaping the public perception of these candidates, and this is a complete antidote to their skewed viewpoints.

Yes. Raising the deepest, most important subjects puts us all on a higher plane. Life, death, and faith should be discussed by everyone. All Americans should have seen this. It could only help.
