There is no good reason for a politician to oppose e-verify

The simple IRS administrative rule change could implement e-verify very easily. Require an annual I-9 form which must have the corresponding e-verify number / approval attached. If the number is not attached, the employee is taxed at the highest rate and the business is taxed at a higher rate. Once the e-verify is completed and filed and the employee is found to be legally employees, the tax rate reverts to the correct rate.

According to a study released this year by the Public Policy Institute of California, about 92,000 or 17 percent of the Hispanic non-citizen population of Arizona left in the year after the state passed E-Verify legislation.

Wonder where they went?

Illegal aliens won’t even call the police when they are kidnapped, why would they answer any questions about work, etc?

I don’t believe the stats.
