Naps’ stalks Perry supporters regularly, wherever they appear, in order to seize upon another opportunity to seethe, and to accuse and berate Rick.

Naps’, maybe you could coordinate more naps and less hostile attitude over every appearance of the Rick Perry name. Do you ever discuss anything, ever, of substance more than your disdain for poor ole Rick? Just wondering.

Perry's pregnant pause

More like an elephant gestation period {22 months or about 672 days}.

It was only 53 seconds, but for perry it was like a nightmare where you are trying to run but your feet won't move.

It was such a stupid sexist question, I am only surprised that she answered it at all.

I can’t recall. Did Hillary ever get any questions about being a submissive wife?

Yep. Everything is true except she is an idiot and does not know what NAPSCOORDINATOR means. Doesn’t surprise me as Rita has ZERO patriotism. Anyway, I will ALWAYS ensure that Perry will NOT be the nominee until he drops out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All Ricky Ricardo has to do is drop out and I will stop berating Perry as you say....poor guy needs you to defend him. He is weaker than I first thought.

I understand the point you’re trying to make but it’s just a misuse of the phrase “pregnant pause”.

That’s not what it was.

A more apt phrase is “senior moment”.

That’s not the same thing as “pregnant pause”.

My dear old granny, before she died, used to get “moments” like these, when a word would totally elude her and it would make her panic and I would have to calm her down.

She didn’t have Alzheimer’s, but she was in her late 80s and had lost some words and she hated it.

Perry is much younger and shouldn’t be losing it like this.

Thanks. I’m not much in a mood to laugh about this, though. I wish he had done better. I really do.

Oh well. Not meant to be.

I don’t know WTF a “naps coordinator” is, either, and if you tell me that makes ME unpatriotic I’ll tell you to take a flying f* at a rolling donut.

What, do you work in a day care center? Put the little tykes down for their naps?

Naps’ is NAVY. My dad was NAVY. I know enough to capitolize the letters, but coordinator of the NAVY I never heard of. I see you retired in April this year. Congratulations on your service and retirement!

Now, lay off with the insults. Rick is a pilot, a farmer, and a governor of a GREAT state. He’s made enemies in Austin. You must be one of those, whose toe he stepped on while bringing all these JOBS to Texasick is gorgeous, competent, fun and a patriot and accomplished a heck of a climb for a share croppers son. At minimum you are less a threat to him than apparently he is to you. Peace.

Perry will be ok against Obama in a debate. Mostly because he won’t be fielding media “gotcha” questions from moderators and won’t be in a stupid line-up on a stage. Perry is not a robot like the others debating. The staged photo ops for media types is not his forte.

Besides, by the time he debates Obama, the Won won’t have anything left to say.

“Naps” seems to be very jealous of Rick Perry and his accomplishments. Maybe he should consider this possibility while coordinating his kid’s naps during his homeschooling duties.

I set up a thread to comfort Perry supporters, since everybody has now declared their candidate dead. I wanted them to see that others have bad things happen at debates, and eventually people forget.

I explicitly stated that this was the purpose for the thread. It is telling that, even when there are dozens of threads for Perry haters to dance on his grave, a few couldn’t allow the Perry folks to have a couple of places where they could commiserate.

As for “Perry’s Pregnant Paus”, I just thought the alliteration was cool. I’m not trying to ressurect someone’s political career here, nor could I in any case.

Is there no time when people can lighten up? I may dislike a lot about Herman Cain, but I certainly agree with him — we take things way too seriously.

Heavens! Mitt couldn’t even remember how long he’d been married.

“I’m a man of steadiness and constancy,” he said. “I’ve married to the same woman for 25 — excuse me, I will get in trouble, for 42 years.”

I do have to laugh when people suggest that posting harsh, personal attack comments in freeper threads will actually influence who does what in a campaign.

As Herman Cain said, we need to take a joke. or something like that. Coordinating naps -- that's funny unless you take yourself real serious.

There are quite a few Perry stalkers. Makes me wonder if they are getting paid to do that.

There are any number of good things about Perry, he is pro gun, anti abortion and before he was gov. they called him the pitt bull of the legislature because he was so in favor of cutting spending and waste. People know he was a farm boy and pilot in the military but the other stuff not so much.

I don't have a problem with flubs in a debate, they all do it to some degree.
