Michael Medved cited this story yesterday as proof of Cain's mismanagement of the campaign. Today he said the campaign is in “meltdown,” Cain is not the front runner anymore, that Cain has admitted to doing much worse than whatever Clarence Thomas was accused of, and that there are twelve witnesses to the harassment. Then he added that now it turns out that he wasn't a good CEP either because his tenure at the National Restaurant Association was cut short.
Hugh Hewitt said today that Cain's campaign is done and it's a choice between Romney and Perry.
I have frankly been shocked at the tone of these two, to be honest. Particularly Medved.

It’s Perry’s fault until it’s not Perry’s fault, then can we just move on?

Those two evidently buy whatever the MSM says.
After five days, we still don’t know anything about the circumstances surrounding the allegations.
Unlike Medved and Hewitt, I’m willing to give the Cain the benefit of the doubt.

Well, the impropriety story from Politico has done little if any damage to Rev. Cain’s poll numbers. So it’s time to make up another “scandal” to try to bring him down.

Still waiting for you to address these facts rather then just race around here screaming hysterically.
Instead of reacting with emotional hysteria, explain why the Arizona State Coordinator for the Perry camp was tweeting about the Cain smear BEFORE Politico published?
How come the 1st independent corroboration for the smear was Chris Wilson a Pollster with ties to the Perry camp?

hmm Seems someone better clue the Romneybots Medved and Hewitt to this.

This is Cain winning. Complete abject surrender to Cain by the smear bots. They were offered the chance to defend their accusations in the open and the smearbots ran.
Now the question remains, who shopped the smear around to Politico? I suspect Romney and Rove are the authors. Both of the them have a history of these sort of sleazy political tactics

This was reported on the same day Politico's story hit. The campaign can buy that stuff, but some newspaper (in Wisconsin I think) says they have documents showing that Cain's campaign got money (donation, loan, whatever) from a non-profit started by his chiefs of staff. Big no-no under campaign finance law if true. Non-profits can't make loans to campaigns.

Mark Davis jumped into the fray too. I dont listen to Medved and/or Hewitt. Can you tell if his listeners are arguing with them at all.

There is also the problem of Cain’s corp T.H.E New Voice doing the same thing. Making a donation, then paid as a vendor. People better start to pay attention, where there is smoke a fire will probably break out fairly soon.
Just sayin.

Here was the original story I saw this week:
http://www.jsonline.com/watchdog/noquarter/state-firms-cash-to-herman-cain-may-breach-federal-campaign-tax-laws-132898423.html?ua=android&dc=smart&c=y
There is an embedded link in the story to download the actual financial records. I couldn't make heads or tails of the records.

And when you READ the original story it all rumor and innuendo again “Might, maybe, could have” there is no actually accusation.
NOW a Leftist smear organization with a very long history of making fraudulent accusation against Conservative candidates only to have their accusations dismissed when it get to Court has filed a complaint.
