Texas congressman and current Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul defended the rights of gay military servicemen and servicewomen to serve, saying “everybody has the same rights as everybody else.”...

...“And there’s a lot more heterosexuals in the military, so logically they’re causing more trouble than gays.”...

...Mr. Paul, who has emphasized his campaign’s support from the military, was one of five House Republicans to vote for the repeal of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy earlier this year. The Texas Republican has repeatedly expressed support for repealing the controversial policy, which took effect last month

Ron
Paul is no fan of the military. I think he may be a bit of a tailpipe sucker too.

“everybody has the same rights as everybody else.”...

Certainly.

Except the gays are asking for special recognition, as they always seem to do.

Ron’s lost me on two related issues now.

Foreign policy and gays in the military. He also doesn’t know much about what a “right” is. And what military service means in terms of personal rights.

Ron Paul is no conservative. Libertarian, yes, but not a conservative.

We all know that Ron Paul and his merry band of Paultards are no fans of the military.

The guy has always been more aligned with the left than he is with the right.

And all he ever does is talk anyway. It's not as if he's actually ever accomplished anything aside from assembling a cult.

This picture I got at Broadway & Wall St. a couple of weeks ago says it all...a clear example of where you just might find Paultards hanging out.

Unfortunately, RP just runs off the rails from time to time. He simply has no idea what sodomites and their “culture” really are.

Maybe he picked up some pointers during his appearance on “Bruno”.

Ron Paul and his fake eyebrows show the failure of homosexual culture.

Ron Paul is a bit of an idiot savant it seems.

On fiscal issues, he seems to be on top of what’s going on.

Everywhere else, that’s where the idiot part comes in.

No surprise there.

I think his comment about not wanting a Wall between Mexico and US because it would be used to keep us from fleeing to Mexico (a Berlin Wall) made him look certified crazy. He was quizzed about it on FNC Special Report yesterday and couldn't explain the statement.

This man is a total loon.

Does he understand how percentages of population works, and how absolute numbers do not reflect the percentage of a percentage of a population that is engaging in whatever trouble-making behavior?

But apart from all that: good grief, the policy making (open) homosexuality a disqualification for military service has hass principle involved and you either defend those principles or you don’t.

Appeasement Paul is for anything that will make our military weaker thus making America weaker.

I laughed out loud at that one.

And he cracks me up whenever he makes his cranky-old-coot comments about the military in those debates.

"Take all the air-conditioners out of the Green Zone {snarl}. THEN we'll see them all come home!" {pout}

If I took him seriously, he'd probably piss me off with that stuff....but I take him and his rabid supporters for what they are. A joke.

You are saying that all the earmarks he has acquired as accomplishing nothing? I can not think of anybody who has accomplished more, in the earmark department.
