I think we need a Hot Air Resource Board to regulate the liberals who want an Air Resource Board. Charge them every time they open their foul mouths to demand another Marxist program that’s destined to fail.

Crap and Fade. Businesses and productive individuals will fade away from the scene in California. Only the crap will remain. We have had unemloyment over 11% for over 3 years here, but at least we can celbrate diversity, teach LGBT history in the schools, and build a bullet train from Bakersfield to Fresno.

Seems as if the state of California wants to depopulate their state. The state is already is serious debt and all their actions will drive all of the businesses and taxpayers out of the state.

"The rest of the country will have to bail them out of their “idiocracy” because liberalism is too big to fail. "

You can look this up. The Greeks used to call this a Kakistocracy... Government by the worst of men!!!

However, I think your reference to CA "Idiocracy" is just perfect!!!

As long as you had some carbon credits left. Otherwise it’ll cost you even more.

I’d sell them some tree space to offset their carbon usage, but ours died from lack of rain. :(

The earth is infested with imperfect biological units made of the poison carbon. The imperfect must be destroyed.

San Francisco looked pretty good when we sailed in on an MSTS ship after ten years away from the US. Pity it has come to this.

Everytime I think the angels snatched you away from FR and set you fat and happy in Heaven’s bleachers, there you are, still on Earth hell.

Thanks for calling me and my state government idiots. It motivates me to one day scare up a posse and drag that commie bitch governor Granholm back to MI for a treason trial.

Other than you bitchin’ at me, how ya’ll doing, buddy? :-)

(See the last sentence for a hint that I ain’t hanging around MI much anymore, ya’ll. I’ve relocated my bikini wax wolverine brigade.)

The write-down on industrial capital will begin immediately. Businesses will want to take the losses as quickly and quietly as possible before their eventual abandonment.

Marginally-profitable outfits will close first, of course. The rest will wait until everything is fully depreciated. Some of those will limp along for years neglecting maintenance and cutting the workforce till it has to end.

New capital investment will be out of the question.

I live in New York, so I've witnessed economic decline first-hand. But this mess in California is the craziest thing I've ever seen. It's intentional.

Some years back, the company I worked for wanted to build an asphalt terminal upriver at Stockton on city property (a former military base.)
The city loved the idea and the rpotential ental income, but by the time the state air board, the county air board and the neighborhood committee got done with us, we built the thing in Reno.

No one voted for the Air Resources board. The state is ruled by an autocracy.
