Vice President Joe Biden now says he didn’t make a reference to rape, and got testy with HUMAN EVENTS when we asked if he would like to retract his comments that the number of sexual assaults would increase if Republicans don’t sign on to Barack Obama’s latest “jobs” proposal.
“I didn’t use, no no no…Let’s get it straight, guy. Don’t screw around with me,” Biden lashed out at HUMAN EVENTS. Then Biden confirmed that he indeed did talk about rape in terms of the President’s spending measure. “Murder will continue to rise, rape will continue to rise, all crimes will continue to rise,” if the Democrats agenda isn’t passed, he added.
It was on Tuesday during a speech at the University of Pennsylvania where Biden initially argued that another round of government spending was needed to prevent sexual assaults. “It’s not temporary [administration’s proposed stimulus] when that 911 call comes in and a woman’s being raped, if a cop shows up in time to prevent the rape. It’s not temporary to that woman.” Then in the same speech he wished Republicans were themselves rape victims. “I wish they had some notion of what it was like to be on the other side of a gun, or [to have] a 200-pound man standing over you, telling you to submit.”
Biden’s demagogic language aside, police budgets are the responsibility of each individual state, not federal bureaucrats. And as Ed Morrissey at HotAir notes, the President’s “jobs” bill doesn’t go directly to hire police officers anyway. Instead, “it allows states to paper-over budget gaps for another year rather than address their systemic budgetary issues, and protect unionized bureaucrats whose jobs should be on the chopping block.”

Well, Mr. Biden, if all those potential victims hadn’t had their 2nd amendment rights eroded they’d have the ability to protect themselves.
What’s the word beyond desperation? I think it’s panic. I said months ago, along w others, that 2012 was ours. This crap proves it. I think they’re just trying to prevent a landslide of epic proportions. It’s become unseemly, at least in American politics. I’ve never seen a President or VP talk in remotely this way. Got to give the dims credit. They always find a new low. Destroying the highest office in the land is as to nothing.
Joe is a thug. Just go to youtube and search Biden/reporter......not to mention how many people Biden has run over with his entourage limos.There are various vids on youtube with Biden drunk as well.
Just saw Biden’s video on Hannity. He used the example of a Shop owner with a Robber holding a gun to his head waiting for the Police to show up and save him. You know, when seconds count the Police will be there in minutes. In Rural America, make that hours.
In a rational world, the Shop owner would be waiting for the Police to come and pickup the Body of the Perp so he could mop the blood off the floor, reopen his store to serve his customers while making some money to boot.

What’s even more effing stupid about this is that the national murder rate - as well as rape, robbery, and assault - is the lowest it’s been in decades, both as a rate and a total count. The overall violent crime rate in 2010 was lower than it’s ever been since 1972. The murder rate hasn’t been this low since 1963. Biden rejects our reality and substitutes his own.

One of my pet peeves has always been when the elites tell the american People you have a Duty as a Citizen to Vote,you must Respect the office of the President. I look and listen to the Present occupant of that Office and his second in command and I ask where is their respect for that Office,I am 61 years old and I have never heard the Kind of Rhetoric coming from that office now in My Lifetime.
The sad state of affairs is that because they are democrats the Story line is not the Despicable, Demeaning and Destructive nature of this Behavior,it is, Is this working for the President? I can guarantee that if it were the Republicans it would be reported as How can this guy Demean the Office,the Prestige of the Office of President,an office held by Washington Jefferson ,Lincoln with such despicable and Obscene Behavior. Where is the Outrage From the American People,will they go Peacefully into the Night,accepting this decent into depravity?
