"John Stemberger is an Orlando attorney and is the former political director for the Republican Party of Florida. He has served as an adviser to state, federal, and presidential candidates for the last two decades and led the successful 2008 statewide campaign to pass the Florida Marriage Protection Amendment with a 62 percent vote margin."

Romney got caught with illegal yard workers, not once, but TWICE.
How much conviction can you have about illegal aliens if you employ them?

Unfortunately Perry’s debate performance sank his chances at the nomination.

An article telling conservatives what we “must do” isn’t going to gain a lot of traction, you know.

Too bad your issues don’t include Obamacare (Romneycare), Climate Change Hoax(Romney Cap and Trade), or gun control (Romney restrictions). Also, I haven’t seen any indication that Romney is strong on illegal immigration.

Any one of those 6 “conservative” candidates can make the same claim - stopping Romney effectively means ALL must support the writer’s conservative. To break this cycle, I’ll put in a stake here and now: All must rally around Cain!

That coupled with Cain’s rise. The Reagan and Palin conservatives are now Cain conservatives. That leaves Perry with the Romney table droppings.

Newsmax is a known pro-romney poblication and John Stemberger is trying to split the conservative vote to deflate Cain. A vote for Perry is a vote for Romney.
To: bullypulpit
Sorry, but your characterization of Rick Perry as a “Solid Conservative” is a lie as long as he keeps his open border positions/Suppor of Illegal Immigration

The problem lies in the fact that conservatives do not have a single favorite candidate. They have six favorite candidates! And as long as they remain split between each of their six favorite candidates, they will eventually help nominate Mitt Romney the very candidate they least trust on the issues. It was true in 2008 and it will be true in 2012.
