The State Department has awarded 4,453 permanent resident "Diversity Visa" applications to would-be immigrants from Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism that was recently implicated in a plot to assassinate the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States.
The lottery program for Diversity Visas awards prospective immigrants with the chance to obtain a permanent residency visa. The 4,453 prospective Iranian immigrants will still have to pursue their visa applications on their own, according to the State Department’s website.
To be eligible, applicants must have at least a high school education or two years of work within the previous five years at a job that requires at least two years of training.
Iran’s intelligence services have been implicated in a plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States by bombing a restaurant or public place in Washington, D.C.

Again, I compare our immigration system to the Australian model...and we come up glaringly and completely short.
This is a very dangerous program that needed to be ended yesterday.
All of the talk of what to do with Mexican illegals seems suddenly foolish when you stop to realize that we are granting LEGAL status to tens of thousands of immigrants from Islamic terror hellholes each and every year.

I worked with someone who was a Christian Iraqi, (She moved over here in the late 80’s) she was a very gentle and kind soul.

After what the ROP has done to the Zoroastrians I will never forgive the ROP for that.
I assume that means radical Iranian Muslims, since, we have enough moderate Iranian Muslims.

The State Department, has pushed gay pride activities in our embassies, Bought and push the 911 ground zero Imams book, complained about civil rights issues in AZ while in China... Their priorities are very anti-traditional American. (IMO)

I was personally acquainted with few of them when I worked in Japan and my former company was called on to assist American companies in selling into Japan.
I'm not so sure if this is still the case, but back then I was told that the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo was second only to Saudi Arabia in the number of staff.
