Were in this for the long haul. There are no solutions that can be presented quickly to make us go away. And so there will be moments where our presence is no longer an uncomfortable and unknown variable, but rather is normalized and integrated. Its in those moments that we have to push the envelop [sic], pry open the space of possibility even farther. We go as far as we can to destabalize [sic], but maintain momentum. And when thats the new normal then we go farther. Thats how change happens, how we shift the terrain and the terms of the game.
- Email in Occupy archive, Re: Can OWS be turned into a Democratic Party Movement?; Wednesday, October 12, 2011
In keeping with the new media notion of crowdsourcingenthusiastically embraced by the mainstream media when trawling through Sarah Palins emailsBig Government will be providing readers later today with links to a document drop consisting of thousands of emails.
The email archive, created by a private cyber security researcher, appears to contain messages shared by the lefts anarcho-socialist activists during the strategic and daily tactical planning of the Occupy Wall Street and broader Occupy campaign this fall.
Big Government received a tip about the existence of the archive, and we were able to contact the individual who compiled and posted it. He will describe the archive, and how he obtained the emails, later this morning exclusively on Big Government.
Through crowdsourcing, the media and the public will then be able to discover the truth behind the Occupy movement.

I have no problem with this story at all. This is not a "faction", this is the essence of the kind of scum we are seeing at this event. It is not merely that "many" are communists, it is "most". Whatever the problems with Wall street and the "bankers", they pale in comparison to the kind of evil these people represent. They are out to destroy, not to bring justice.
You're just like the fleabaggers. You think you have a problem with Wall Street, but you don't. You have a problem with corrupt congressmen who have been on the take for years.
Government regulation and bureaucracy are the seedbeds of all the corruption that has brought us to this place. While I agree there have been precious few "good guys" in any direction, the source of the problem is clear.
Wall Street needs to be fixed. Who is more likely to bring back respect for the law and solid judgement on how government needs to guide the free market; a Tea Party type candidate or someone followed by this unthinking crowd of whack jobs?
From the Breaking News sidebar:
Emails Expose #OccupyWallStreet Conspiracy to Destabalize Global Markets, Governments

Most of the complaints about Wall Street shenanigans and crony capitalism are entirely justified.
The problem with OWS is that their proposed solutions, to the extent they provide any, will make things worse not better.
When government controls whether businesses make a profit and how much, businesses will obviously try everything they can to influence those decisions.
The cure is not more detailed and intrusive regulations, it is to provide simple and minimal regulations, then allow the free market to work.
“You’re just like the fleabaggers. You think you have a problem with Wall Street, but you don’t. You have a problem with corrupt congressmen who have been on the take for years.”
What is so hard to see that when two groups of people conspire to do something that should not be done then they are both guilty.
“Who is more likely to bring back respect for the law and solid judgement on how government needs to guide the free market; a Tea Party type candidate or someone followed by this unthinking crowd of whack jobs?”
It mostly appears that the answer to that question is “Neither”. Sadly.
I agree with you mostly. Bringing back Glass Steagall would fix a huge percent of the problems. It worked for 70 years.
