Bill Kristol and the crew at the Weakly Standard and the folks at Commentary are hard-core neocons who want the U.S. to continue being involved in “nation building” and police the world ... as long as it's other Americans’ children - not theirs - putting their lives on the line.

Neocons are no better than liberal Democrats.

You don't have to read Commentary to know what "right of return" and "neoconservative" mean.

I had written Perry off after the third debate debacle. But I am sending the man $500 tomorrow. We have GOT to have adult leadership in the White House. Cain has yet to pass through political puberty.

Herman Cain is a real man. He has a history of successes far greater than most men. He doesn’t spout platitudes or speak in generalities. He searches for solutions and finds them! Herman Cain is the true conservator’s conservative.

Herman Cain may be a bit light on foreign policy but, if he becomes the candidate he will briefed by plenty of experts.

Obama has been on the job several years now and is still clueless on foreign policy and economic matters. I think Cain is a better prospect to learn, plus he is for American greatness, not apologetic about it.

How about this. Instead engaging in the usual Perry bot character assassination postings, you try making a case FOR Perry instead?

BTW, when you lie about your real agenda in the vain hopes of making yourself look objective Perry-bot, you lose the debate.

I would remind the Cainiacs that this is the same Mitt Romney their guy enthusiastically supported in 2008. At the last debate, he and Mitt were the only two candidates that said TARP was a necessary evil.

That tells me that Cain supporters are really Romney suporters. They just want to buy the bogus goods in a different wrapper.

Flip-flopping on the flop-flopper.

leery of Cain-sian economics because of his backing of TARP, an original sin on the right

TARP schmarp. Than was then, this is now. Just like how he threw his whole support behind Romney in 2008. And how he still LOVES Alan Greenspan. Don't look at that stuff. We don't consider that stuff. Let's look over here instead.

Three card monte Cain. Hand quicker than the eye. “9-9-9, pick my plan, it's the only plan. Don't ask about details. I'll tell you the details after you pick me. It's 9-9-9, you're getting sleepy, sleepy, 9-9-9. Repeat after me, 9-9-9, 9-9-9, 9-9-9 . . . .” .

He's Cain! He doesn't listen to anybody but Cain! Doesn't need much money, doesn't need an organization, sure as hell doesn't need any advisers. They're all fools. “I'm Cain. 9-9-9. That's all you need to know. 9-9-9.”

We know what is in Cain. What we DO NOT know is what is actually in Perry

How about instead of continuing the Perry smear attack du jour, you answer the questions about Perry for a change?

Who got in the race last after it was clear Romney was not going to get any appreciable support from social conservatives?

Who did the GOP Establishment push into the race after it seem Tea Party heroine Bachmann was going to upset Romney’s ride to the nomination?

Who does the GOP Establishment see as their back up card if Romney fails?

Who has long standing intimate ties with the Liberal wing of the GOP Establishment?

The answer is Rick Perry.

Bill Kristol to a NY Time Reporter telling him how the GOP Establishment plans to deal with “the Tea party mutiny”

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2792217/posts?page=3

Kristol told me just after Perry entered the race, a development that essentially ended [the more radical Michele] Bachmann’s brief ascent. Establishment Republicans may prefer Romney to Perry, but their assumption is that either man can be counted on to steer the party back toward the broad center next fall, effectively disarming the Tea Party mutiny.

Wonder who Perry will be VP with?

Odd how that question never gets asked of Perry.

Could it be because everyone knows Perry is the GOP Establishment mole in the race to split the Tea Party/Conservative vote and hand the nomination to Romney?

Could it be because they know the ticket the GOP Machine is setting up is “Romney/Perry 2012? Think about it. Romney has the money, Perry has the idolatrous worship from the social Conservatives.

Could that be why the Perry camp is knowingly lying about Cain’s solidly Conservative record on both social and fiscal issues? Because they know full well Perry’s record can not stand close scrutiny?

What does anyone really know about Perry other then the nice words and platitudes he puts in his speeches? Looks like Perry is just Bush 3.0 another tough talking social conservative who will go to DC and be yet another good little GOP crony capitalist water boy.

So instead of playing reindeer games, Cain WENT to Israel to find out for himself the facts on the ground. NO photo ops. NO publicity stunts. NO PANDERING. Just the facts. Hardly anyone even knew he went.
Go Herman!!! GO!!!

He identifies himself as a black American, not an African-American.

America first is a pretty good foreign policy.

Perhaps ignorance is bliss. HC damn sure will not be bowing to Saudi princes, Japanese emporers, and kissing the Pope’s ring.

I think it will be handshakes and straight talk with him.

A good platoon leader knows he doesn’t diddly about pushing troops and defers to his NCO’s for guidance while he is learning how to run a platoon.

I think HC is charismatic and smart enough to acknowledge that foreign policy is a weakness and will bring on sharp people to help shape his policies.

The Western Roman Empire strategy that the neocons pursued would be possible if the US is not broke and the people were prepared for imperial objectives. Look at Japan and Germany before WW2. Education to ramp up the youth, families were encouraged to have lots of kids. It took about 10 to 20 years of preparation before Japan and Germany decided to take on the world and create a new Japanese or German Empire. How did the necons prepare us for war? Calm down the anti Muslim mood, take down the pictures of the burning WTC, Muslims are no different then us, no draft or ramp up of industry for war. Consequence is Rumsfeld’s small forces were in trouble when they ran into unforseen problems once the regular Iraqi army was defeated. Neocons are too simplistic in their approach to world conquest and war. Luckily AQ was brutal and not sophisticated as Mao’s peoples war strategy. Otherwise we would be retreating out of Iraq like Saigon in 1975. Neocons think every nation is like Japan and Germany (who are real nations) and every nation wants to be an American once you introduce toilets and modern stuff. Well Iraq and Afghanistan are artificial nations with no national core and they have centuries of cultural values that are backward and cannot be eliminated with Western kindness. Like late Rome the neocons pursuit of Empire is unsustainable because the costs of conquering the farflung region is larger then the benefits derived.
Today the US needs to pursue a strategy similar to the Eastern Roman Empire after it lost Rome, limited in finances, manpower but advance in technology and to an extent economic system when compared to the surrounding barbarians. Active isolationism that uses forces and resources to keep our enemies off balance and not go out to expand the enemies list by entangling in the internal or regional affairs of other nations.

You mean 9-9-9 could be a joke-joke-joke?

How about this Perrybots? How about you drop the smear attack campaign postings and try making a case for your candidate for once?

Odd how the Perrybots and the Romneybots are using the exact same campaign tactics. The never ever make a case FOR their candidate, they merely slander and lie about all the other ones.

So which campaign are you two actually working for?

Cain’s answer means we might actually get a president who comes up with the right answer before acting.

Funny how total inexperience didn’t bother the Obama groupies.

If your boy Obama is so smart then why doesn't he release his transcripts from Harvard so the entire world can see how "smart" he is?

Since Obama tied with about 600 other Harvard law grads for first in his class (grade inflation at Harvard? Really?) I don't know how telling that would be.

I imagine his transcripts from Occidental College, Columbia and his SAT and LSAT scores are quite interesting. I would be shocked if they weren't numbers that would be laughed at by the Harvard Law School admissions committee if they accompanied applications from us of the hoi polloi.
