The world's population looks set to smash through the seven billion barrier in the next few days, according to the United Nations. It comes just 12 years since the total reached six billion - with official estimates saying the figure will top eight billion in 2025 and 10 billion before the end of the century.

I really think Apple should track down the 7 billion’th child born and give them an iPad. Surely there’s an app for that.

If they don’t gift the iPad, I may occupy my nearby Apple store, defecate on their floor and bathe myself once a week with a dry, baby-wipe.

OWSers say everyone should have a free iPad! (But you know, the natural, organic kind, not those icky ones made by a *corporation*)
These projections are based on the theory that one of the nutjobs in the ME or in Russia don’t let loose with a nuke to a major population center.
Granted, the population increase appears ominous to dwellers of heavily populated areas, but it will be the least of worries.
I shall celebrate by adding chocolate to milk.. nah, I want a french silk pie :)

Being that it will probably be a Muslim, giving him a free IPad will mean he probably will rewire it to be some remote detonation device for a semtex bomb.
