Texas has spent $200,000,000.00 of its own taxpayer’s money defending this country on the southern border. It is not my responsibility as a taxpayer to protect you. It is the federal government’s job. Why do you people keep blaming Texas for not spending EVEN MORE of Texans money to protect you? WEAK!!!

Perry already put border fences where they will actually work in Texas. Some misinformed people seem to think it's worth taxpayer money to fence off Texas from the whole of the Rio Grande River (where illegals are NOT crossing), but Perry is correct that this is ludicrous. For Arizona, that does not have a large of a border or a river between them and Mexico, a border fence is a fabulous idea...as Rick Perry says.

As far as in-state tuition. That was past by a veto-proof majority in the legislature, and at least at that time, Texans supported it as the best way to ensure taxpayers did NOT have to pay to support illegals through welfare and in our prisons.

Perry has spent $200,000,000.00 of Texan's taxpayer money security the southern border where the feds have failed. He has been to Israel to find the best methods of securing it, and come back with ideas. He has asked for drones, he has asked for manpower, and he has been denied. You don't have to like Perry. You don't have to like Texas' answer to the children of illegals in Texas that are seeking citizenship being eligible to pay their own in-state tuition. But if you don't like Perry because he's not tough on border security, you have a screw loose. He's the best there is.

OK, Rey, you convinced me to listen to Perry more critically, and be alert to his stand on Border Security, as you have stated it. Not being a Texan, I am just not all that sure that this chap would not rather find employment as the first Gobernador of Tejas en Aztlán

Then I get to your tag line. You are aware that Rubio's parents were not US citizens at the time of his birth in US? How does this sit with your read of Article II? Do you think a court decision would be helpful? Talk amongst yourselves, Rubio fans. My mind is open, after I hear from a court that he is eligible.

Me? I don't care if his Mamma gave birth to Rubio while she slid into home plate at the Florida Marlins. He is thereby a "Native Born Citizen," a worthy status indeed, sufficient to run for the Senate, just not worthy enough to run for Prexy or Veep under the Constitution. Can we solve this problem, or are we going to let the Mombasa Moonbat settle it by ignoring it?

And yes, BTW, I think Rubio himself is an absolute shiite not to ask for a clarification. Potentially a very good boy in the Senate though, I'll grant you that. He's weaseling on this, just like a certain young son of a Kenyan chap now resident in public housing.

Yeah, I've had the Natural Born discussion several times and frankly, it's not the issue at present. Rubio says he's not running as a VP candidate. I'll take him at his word, but I'd like to see it just the same.

Not sure I understand the Gobernador of Tejas en Aztlan comment, but I'm glad you're willing to look at his border stand. He's a good man.

Perry is the only candidate out there attacking Romney. He’s the only one interested in beating him.

Santorum and Newt may want to defeat him but no one asks him tough questions or bothers to confront him about his positions or the fact that his aids that helped craft Romney care also helped Obama craft Obamacare.

Someone must hold Romney accountable for that. Romney is being given a free pass.

That picture says everything that needs to be said about Perry and his suitability to be president of the U.S. Perhaps he’d feel more comfortable in mexico?

Poor Rove. He’s got you worried to death! Don’t worry about the polls. Our last nominee was at 4% at this time in the primaries. Rick has plenty of money to see him through the current Hermenator distraction.

LOL. And didn't that work out so well for us!

Personally I get f-ing fed up with paying for all kinds of crappola for illegals. Medical, dental, housing, food stamps, and now I subsidize illegals freakin education, abortions, how about freaking funerals too?????

I agree with you but these are federal issues and they must be addressed at the federal level.

“We cannot have national security until we have border security,” Perry said.

O.K., who gave him a dose of truth serum?

D, if Perry wins a few primaries and is nominated at the convention, I will put his picture up in my window, his sign on my lawn, and personally register Republicans at every trailer park within 50 miles of my home and personally drive the couch potatoes to the polls

Run the SOB up the flag pole and see who salutes! If he's the candidate, he's my guy. BTW, ditto anyone else.

LMAO! I think Basil would win that debate, his idea to plant grass and sell it is one more concrete proposal than Slick Rick’s given throughout his entire run for president.

You obviously don’t know that the National Guard’s pay is still payed by the USA, even if the governor orders them to the border

Bwahahahahaha ... Basil got paid a modest sum by the democrap machine in Tennessee to run as a republican candidate for governor. As a resident of this great volunteer state I can assure you we do have a few ‘village idiots’ wandering about. We’ve even sent a few to their natural home, Washington DC.

Perry is starting to get his message out.

And what's not in that message of Perry's is the difference between "securing" the border and luring aliens here with confiscated financial aid and stemming a mass exodus of aliens into the American interior.
