Lori Dorn, the wife of Laughing Squid's Scott Beale, recently submitted to a backscatter scan at JFK airport. The TSA pulled her aside for a breast patdown, even though she stated she had breast implants in place after her bilateral mastectomy. Of course, that didn't stop them.
They didn't even let her take out the Device Identification Card that would could have explained where the implants came from and their medical purpose. No. Instead they humiliated her in public

Yeah, my wife wants to go on a trip, but I keep coming up with driving trips. Why haven’t the airlines stood up for their customers at all.
I have too. But soon I’m not going to have a choice. I can foresee a minimum of four flights that I’ll be forced to take.
In January I’m going to have spinal surgery and I’m going to have two long rods implanted in my back.
For the rest of my life, dealing with TSA gets to be a lot of fun...

This needs to be one of our conservative goals, right after Bozo care repeal, shut down the TSA and let the airlines handle their own security. This is one of the biggest mistakes Bush and the boys made, along with the frickin’ Homeland Security dept. We need to disband that one too, along with the EPA and the BATFE. Just for starters(No, I didn’t forget the dept of Ed.).
Me too....on my last vacation I drove 28 hours rather than fly 6.
In today’s world, I have resolved that if I can’t drive there, I won’t go there. There’s plenty to see and do in the good ole US of A.
I love getting off the interstates and driving the back roads of this great and beautiful land.
It’s helps that I’m retired and now have time to do this, though. I realize everyone can’t.

Because people are still flying for vacations and business trips. You aren’t a human being to the TSA or the airlines.

Yes and nothing is going to be done about it. I am waiting to see what a Republican President does about TSA. I have a $10 bet with myself that the answer is “nothing”.
You need a whole bunch of politicans of the people to accomplish that. A we have are political elites to choose from. It would take a revolution on the level of 1776 to right this ship.

I hear you. We live in PA, took a New England cruise out of NJ, and it didn't require flying. It was great.
